What will not pass is the loss of freedom taking place here in our republic, at least not for generations. The Democrats are doing everything they can to create a huge voting bloc made up of those dependent on the government. Whether it’s welfare recipients or union workers, they know what they’re doing.
I know Obama looks like a blundering idiot lately. He isn’t doing the things we expect presidents to do. He plays a lot of golf, regardless of what crises happen to be taking place. His economic policies are producing nothing but – you guessed it – dependents! To meet his goals he doesn’t need to do the things we want a president to do. To meet his goals all he needs to do is to create a dependent class that will forever vote to cement the power of progressives in government. Think about it, if your existence depended on the state, would you vote for someone looking to dismantle the state?

I wonder if there is a way to work on “pride?” Perhaps it is too late for most people that are “dependent” on the government. But it seems there should be some way to “re-invent” the word. But alas, that would probably require an IQ that simply isn’t genetically present in the dumb masses today. Still I wonder ...

Once they pass that bill we may not see a Republican president for a very long time.
This strategy is primarily for 2012 to get Obama re-elected, not so much 2010 where those angry are the most motivated. This is also why he is talking immigration reform so in 2012 he will claim he tried to do something and blame republicans, same with the homos in the military.
I get to talk to Obama liberals from time to time (neighbors, etc, painful sometimes) and they swear by the Obama line : that Obama ‘inherited’ a huge mess from Bush, that all his spending and government expansion was necessary to ‘save the economy’ and that things would be much worse if Obama didnt run up huge debts and run the economy. Their rhetorical ace in the hole is the Bush TARP speech where Bush himself said we on the verge of a depression that required lots of $$$$$ and government power to save the economy (not kidding, just got hit again with that Friday just as I predicted back in October 2008.) .
Americans are awakening to the reality that govt isiders are mishandling trillions in govt stimulus---and that govt monies are being laundered in the states, and/or are being illegally directed to Democrat campaign coffers, or wire-transferred offshore into personal accounts.
ITEM We kept reading and hearing about Obama's rushing Congress to approve the $787 billion stimulus package early this year. Now uber-Lobbyist Thomas Hale Boggs, Esq, interviewed by ABC nightly news several weeks ago, said, "there's $2 TRILLION federal stimulus waiting to be distributed". Boggs said he was getting unprecedented numbers of calls from all over the US......from those who want a piece of it. (Boggs is the son of former Cong Hale Boggs and brother of former ABC-TV commentator Cokie Roberts).
ITEM Mother Jones mag reports the actual cost of the stimulus, bailouts, TARP (whatever) is $14 TRILLION.

PROBABLY LIKE THIS (the Madoff MO): Creating a labyrinth of interrelated international funds, institutions and financial entities of almost unparalleled complexity and breadth......with assets and businesses in miltiple places overseas that hid thievery, money launderering and tax evasion. At least half a dozen people in the Obama admin are going to walk away from “ Public Service “ living like the Sultan of Brunei.

ITEM Obama tapped VP Joe Biden to "allocate" the stimulus $$trillions. Biden's family was involved with Texas financier H. Allen Stanford, now charged with an $8 billion offshore fraud, the WSJ said. The Bidens $50 million fund was jointly branded between the Bidens' Paradigm Global Advisors LLC and a Stanford Financial Group entity, and was known as the Paradigm Stanford Capital Management Core Alternative Fund, the paper said. Stanford-related companies marketed the fund to global investors and also invested about $2.7 million of their own money in the fund, the paper said, citing a lawyer for Paradigm.......... Paradigm Global Advisors is owned through a holding company by the VP's son, Hunter, and Joe Biden's brother, James, according to newspapers.

We concluded this was necessary under the unique circumstances of the stimulus program."
ITEM On June 9, 2009 Obama called a press conference to announce, "Several financial institutions are set to pay back $68B to taxpayers." Reasonable people (taxpayers) assumed that any money or profit would be returned to the general funds from whence it had come .......in order to pay down the debt. The truth, however, is that the money returned by the banks is finding new life as part of what amounts to a Treasury Dept-controlled slush fund.
ITEM Obama's obsessive reach for "healthcare reform" confirms reform is another trillion dollar govt slush fund for hand-picked insiders.......ACORN, Soros, SEIU. Keep in mind---COS Rahm Emanuel and his brother Dr Zeke--are in charge of the healthcare trillions.
