Yeh -- right -- they have all agreed not to do anything.

The main result of the "sanctions" will be to provide Nutjob with another pretext to attract some attention. Will he go too far this time? Galilee? Gaza?

My guess is Galilee. However, we can’t rule out him pulling some stupid move in the Persian Gulf - like when he had those Brit sailors detained for a couple weeks a few years back.

China is having some problems with Islam now also, I can’t believe they want a nuclear armed whackjob that hates them just a tiny bit less than they do us.

The PC West cannot deal with Islam. China, with no rules, plenty of resources and, thanks to the one child policy, a surplus male population almost as large as the entire US population is quite willing to trade blows with Islam. They will Drive the Islamics west to bring down Europe and the US in the same way that the rise of Mongol China drove the Huns, Vandals and Visigoths west to destroy Rome.

Good points. China is definitely the chess master on the world strategic stage. Don’t forget to add their playing us on N.Korea to wield influence against us on Taiwan, and ultimately S.Korea, Japan and the Philippines. That gives them total control of Greater Asia and will be able to effectively combat the rise of radical Islam in Indonesia.

From now own, you only get full privileges for 29 out of 30 days each month. We’ll see how you like that!!!!!

Flogging with a wet noodle comes to mind...

Sanctions don’t work on Iran. They won’t do without. We need to nuke the hell out of them and NOW. Sanctions against N. Korea ended up with them obtaining nukes. Time to do a Harry Truman and stop being so weak

Double Secret is only the beginning. To follow: One REALLY stern letter and one private letter from Hillary that will promise a personal visit and a stern lecture. The Iranians will soon reap the rewards from the folly that they have sown. /s

Trouble is ‘Reuters’ likes to be first but they often get things wrong for that or at least twisted....will see how the others report...even then what’s reported isn’t always the way things will go on the world stage.

Fanatics don’t give a damn about sanctions. If you tell me all of their weqpons trade is now cut off, there’s an oil boycott, and a naval blockade, then I’ll pay attention to sanctions.

UN sanctions = BFD

Iranian reactions to international pressure on their nuke program = real world consequences.

Many analysts speculate Iran really pushed Hezbollah hard back in 2006 to increase tension on the northern Israeli border to deflect attention from international efforts to curb their nuke program . . . and we ended up with a war.
