Settling for Less… And For What?

I have had a very interesting week so far. I had an individual who lives in Europe unload a truck full of grievances regarding the laws and politics of his country. Just keep in mind. What this person shared with me, President Obama and the liberals in Congress are actively pursuing. I had a waitress at one of my favorite restaurants lose her focus, and tell me how burned out she is, and I had an individual who works as a custodian for a local school tell me how not only are they cutting back, but how 4,000 people applied for one custodial position willing to take a job for $9 an hour, down from $40 an hour. These stories are extremely valuable, and will be valuable to those who can relate, and all once I put it all into perspective.

Liberals in America envy what Europe has.

I think liberals think of themselves as sophisticated when they "think European". I heard a Dem say prior to the election that he has a friend in Germany who thinks of America as stupid and out of touch. My first reaction was right, Germany has history of not liking people, so what?

In the instances the blogger cites and from what I can gather from people I see in person, it is just beginning to dawn on the former zerO voters just what totalitarian centralized control means for them. They are also burned out, tired, unhappy and struggling. So, it is good that we have a few more months for more of these people to become disillusioned. I don’t care if they stay home instead of voting for our side and I think that is what they will do because they are inculcated against voting for anything other than a progressive.

This European I was referring to is German. In fact, he was talking about how angry he gets when the President of the United States “meddles in the affairs of his country.” He was talking the other day about how angry he was when he heard that Barack Obama said that he would try and incorporate Turkey into the European Union. He basically said, “what business is it of his to try and incorporate Turkey into the European Union?”

And it doesn’t just end with him. I heard form a Lithuanian how things are here compared to her home country. The bottom line is that they’re jealous. They’re jealous because we are not pressed down with as many restrictions and intrusions from our government as they are. When Barack Obama said that he was going to improve our standing in the world, he meant that he was going to make things “fair” by imposing those very limits, intrusions, and restrictions on us, so that we and the Europeans are on the same boat, under the control of a powerful elite government group.

That is sooooo right. This economy is very much like Europe’s right now. These people are very insightful.
