A couple of gay best friends were voted prom king and queen by such a wide margin at an upstate New York high school that the school didn't even bother with any runners-up.
Seniors Charlie Ferrusi and Timmy Howard won their respective crown and tiara by a landslide Saturday. They started thinking about running about a month ago and ran the idea past advisors and the principal, who gave their blessing.
One of the hardest parts of the experience, the boys said, was deciding who would be king and who would be queen.

If I had kids at that school I’d do whatever was necessary to get them out and enroll them in a private school, including put myself into debt for a long, long time.
It's pointless to even pray for these filth. They're toast. I hope they feel it was worth it when eternity in agony stretches before them like an unending dungeon of despair.

Seriously, there is a bit of a conflict within me as I never liked the girls hoping to be prom queen. Especially when they were nice to you, when they hadn’t acknowledged your existence all through school. So, not too much love for them. BUT, gay boys infiltrating yet another heterosexual tradition brings up my distaste factor way above my prom queen contenders dislike.

I've been to Hudson many times over the last thirty-five years, and I have witnessed first hand, the remarkable renaissance in this small city thanks to the large number of gay people who have moved there since the late 1990's and have purchased and refurbished the old houses and opened businesses and invested their money in what was once a dying community. Back in the 1970's, 80's and early 1990's, when the heterosexuals ran the place, every other building in the business district was burned out or abandoned, houses were falling apart, political corruption was rampant, and there were more violent gangs in a city of 7000 people than anyone could imagine. Hudson still has problems, but two gay guys getting elected king and queen of the high school prom is a non-issue.

I used two brain cells with this one : A Queen is a WOMAN.
Those two brain cells fought valiantly, but I’m afraid they are too poisoned to return to the rest of my brain and the usual thoughts I process on a daily basis since I was born. The brain cells are now walking away, on a self-imposed gulag into the hot, hot desert.
Perhaps these kids should spend more time absorbing even BASIC studies and less time finding new and recursively offensive orifices to stick their willy.

Just think about it. When the students meet each other at their 10th or 20th year reunion they’ll ask about the two prom queens and find out they have AIDS/HIV and a whole host of other diseases or have already died from them.
Sorry pal, you don’t know much about Hudson, or for that matter upstate New York if you blame its former woes on “heterosexuals”.
In fact Hudson has suffered the same woes the entire Rust Belt has. Are you suggesting Detroit and Cleveland and Erie etc can all be restored by having homosexuals come in and open antique shops?
