-- snip --

The Cook Political Report's current projection of a 30-to-40-seat loss for Democrats is based on a hybrid approach. We start with the micro, race-by-race analysis, which points to about a 30-seat loss. When we add in macro analysis, the Democrats' net-loss figure jumps to 40. My gut tells me that Democrats will end up losing a few more than 40...

Recent RCP-recorded polls — nearly all except Rasmussen — show a tilt back to the dems. I’m thinking the GOP will take 25-30, with 5 Senate seats.

The way the Lilly Livered Republicans are acting i doubt they will recapture any Branch and get it back in American hands.

What about the way the Democrats are acting. They cannot move off dead center with this administration they have in control. Any group that selects this kind of uspurper to be President has to be ready to loose it.

One can only hope the voters can figure it out. I doubt it.

They are not Lilly Livered Republicans. they are part of the program. They are the ones who got Obama elected.

Well, he looks like Tiger. Let's give him a shot.

The exact same thing happened when the Republicans had majorities. They didn't do a GD thing. (except make themselves rich)

I know I have to laugh when I hear people talking about how the Republicans will repeal Healthcare and stop Cap and Trade.

I don’t know who is really running the country.

But it is not the Democrats
or the Republicans.

It is the Marxist Collective. Teier end game is a Progressive Pricing System controlled by the Federal Government. The more money you have the more you pay for goods and services. The less you have the less you pay. WHAT you can have will be controlled by them.

Every Republican senator voted against the health care bill. The liberal, main-stream media will never show a strong, forceful Republican (think Dick Cheney) in a good light.

Interesting take.

I have recently been experimenting with being poor, because of crazy legal judgment against me.

And I must say that you are correct. Being poor is easy. You cannot believe the discounts and bonuses you get. I was amazed.

This spreading the wealth around crap is weird. They take all your money and then give you money because you have no money because they took it from you.

This is a real story. It defies logic.

I have a friend who spoke with a Republican congressman. They anticipate a gain of 100 seats.

That was John Boehner. As Minority Leader, he needs to be positive. There is no way they will get 100 seats. The majority of seats are gerrymandered anyway.

Things are looking bleaker when I travel to other towns. Maybe Wall Street and Multi Nationals are staying above water but Housing has come to a stop. Commercial Real Estate is scary dead.

Ignorance can not be so blissful when those fools start paying for this crap that was passed into law.

I agree.

Also, when I drive around and see some houses being built, not only does it feel peculiar, but also I wonder to myself, “What in the world do these people think they’re doing building a new house NOW?” Where I once was curious, now, I find it, well, as you said, scary. That is a first in my lifetime. I have no idea how people really think they’re going to pay for them.

I am doing the same thing with cars now, too.

John Boehner is the worst leader the GOP could have right now. He's never had an original thought nor shown any leadership and he's my congressman.
Anybody but Boehner. Nice guy, good tan, but nothing up stairs.
