As if they couldnt before?
In most states, feral hogs are considered a nuisance, and no license is required,,,is Michigan different?
Kind of a waste of legislation anyway. People in Michigan have been killing wild hogs all along.
I knew it was a problem down south - but Mich - ? really?
havent seen em in NY yet
In CA we have a season for hunting the damn things. One a day, one in possession except in Monterrey County, the rules are stricter there.
A few years back the PETA freaks cut fences on some of Ted Nugent’s land here in Michigan and turned a dozen European boars loose. Nugent told the neighbors to kill them if they saw them because he would be responsible for damage done.
A friend of mine got one during deer season.
Da-yum - I got excited - thought it was about open season on politicians.
Does this include the People’s Caliphates of Dearbornistan and Detroitistan?
In Arkansas you shoot them and let them lay (Psudo-rabies).
They’re going after wild Muslims?
...in lieu of having a hunting license.
I saw the title and thought it was open season on fat chicks until I read the article.
I think yes. To trap or kill any animal you have to have a valid hunting license.
At first I thought the headline sad *federal* swine.
Concealed Carriers allowed to shoot Feral Swine in Michigan
No comment. I'm shuttin' up on this one.
Okay just one: They should start in Detroit.
Are they defining the word “swine” broadly or narrowly? By my definition the city of Detroit is overrun with feral swine.
“Does this include the Peoples Caliphates of Dearbornistan and Detroitistan?”
Yes.
But, only swine on four feet can be shot.
Aw, shucks. At first, I misread the word “feral” for something else.
Feral, not federal...
