"As Pro-Palestinian Flotilla Activists Gather in NYC, Jewish Group Urges State Dept. to Probe Links to Terrorism" Thursday, June 17, 2010 By Patrick Goodenough, International Editor

SNIPPET: "(CNSNews.com) – Tensions in the Middle East over the recent Gaza flotilla incident could surface in New York City on Thursday evening, when a pro-Palestinian group hosts flotilla activists at a public meeting Jewish activists have tried to thwart.

An organization called Al-Awda (The Palestine Right to Return Coalition) is holding a meeting in a Brooklyn church featuring a leading official in IHH, the controversial Turkish organization behind the attempt to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza. Pro-Palestinian, left-wing and anti-war organizations are co-sponsoring the event.

Also scheduled to speak are two people who were onboard the Mavi Marmara, the ship on which deadly clashes between Israeli commandos and pro-Palestinian activists left nine activists dead. The two are U.S.-based filmmaker Iara Lee and left-wing British activist Kevin Ovenden."

Here's Al-Awda's webpage giving the host "church" as The House of the Lord Church at 415 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY: [Link]

The "church's" website gives their leader as Rev. Herbert Daughtry. The site's bio for Daughtry list among his works a published lecture "A Theology of Black Liberation" - an ideology shared by Obama and his preacher Jeremiah Wright. [Link] Daughtry is an ex-felon (armed robbery & assault) and has been active in radical causes for decades (including a visit in 2003 to Iraq and Saddam Hussein)>

And as with Obama's "church" the site's bio for their Jesus states, "That Jesus was essentially African in Origin" and that his history means that "what passed on to Jesus was Africanness." [Link]

From my recollection the church's Atlantic Ave. address makes it a neighbor of the Atlantic Ave. Mosque of the convicted terrorist leader "Blind" Sheikh Abdel-Rakman.
