That’s exactly right. Well said.
There are irreconciliable differences between the liberal world view and the conservative world view.
Pick various issues, and you will see that if we have certain policies in place, there is no compromise possible.
Some issues are:
abortion
same sex marriage
healthcare
affirmative action
government spending/balanced budgets
the government programs which we spend the money on
education
feminism
environmentalism
energy policy
capitalism vs. socialist policies
socialist policies vs. individual freedoms
I’m sure others can express this better than I can. But just saying, that if we adopt the most liberal policies in many areas, there is no room for the conservative/traditional/capitalist approach. If we lock in socialism/collectivism, then that becomes the social, economic, and governmental structure through which all issues are viewed and decided.
There was a time when they were accurately referred to as overeducated shitheads. But no one seems to have the balls to call a spade a spade.
It’s funny. I was thinking the same thing while walking my dog the other day. These Progressive Lefties may have PhDs in “Thinkology” but nothing in the way of common sense.

Liberals also believe that education is the replacement of morality. For example, if the issue of child or teen sex comes up, the libs decry that the kids need to be “educated” and need education on this subject. Morality is what is needed, NOT education. Morality is something that no diploma can grant.
