Has the responsibility to stop one of the worse ongoing global environmental disasters that he is powerless to stop. Just had to sack his commander in Afghanistan due to his own failed policies. Failed to support the Iranian Green movement due to his own horrible political ploys. Needs to protect the House of Saud his Arab benefactors from a potential Persian hegemony.

This President needs a big time Wag the Dog if his party has any chance of negating some of the losses coming their way in November. Israel has survival on its plate. Looks like Obama has found a but to kick. Lets just hope he kicks the right one.

I said about a year or more ago, on a FR thread, that if Obama’s back was to the wall come election time, he would pull a rabbit out of the hat and attack Iran (or back up Israel, if he makes them do his dirty work), in order to enhance his ratings. I still think that.
