President Obama is having a rough go of things lately. As noted here last week, for the first time in his presidency, more Americans disapprove of Obama (48%) than approve of him (45%), according to the latest WSJ/NBC poll. And 62% say the country is headed in the wrong direction.

Actually, I’m kinda curious how Iowans perceive the current mess. Let’s say that the first primary there were to go into a serious divide with some little-known Democrat opposing President Obama...and the President lost the first part of the Iowa episode. The entire media would stand there and wonder if this was the sinking of the Titanic.

Agreed, but perhaps the worst thing Bush and the free-spending Republicans in Congress did was to make it possible for an Obama win and for the Dems to control both the House and the Senate. It’s hard to forgive them for that.
I was telling someone the other day that I thought this was by far W's worst legacy.
