I set the poem, In Flanders Field to music in honor of Memorial Day. However, it applies today, too. Many have sacrificed so much to make this country great. Today, we are at a cross roads. We must pick up the torch and hold it high. God bless! Have a blessed, prayerful Independence Day.

Thank you.
Dr. John McCrae, a Canadian, wrote the poem during the battle of Flanders in WWI after he had lost a good friend. He actually threw the poem away, but someone rescued it and gave it back to him.
Thank you!!
