BTTT
Ken Blackwell would be a good pick, IMHO, but I wouldn’t be surprised if another RINO takes over. Mitt Romney comes to mind.
Steel’s choice of words and presentation are unfortunate but I believe the idea he was trying to express is valid.
He was trying to tie Obama to his campaign rhetoric asserting that Dubya was pursuing the wrong war and that he (Obama) would move resources from Iraq to Afghanistan and pursue the war there to a successful conclusion.
Now Obama is taking a defeatist posture while trying to straddle the fence between his campaign rhetoric and the demands of his leftist anti-war base.
So Steele wanted to tie Obama to the war on the strength of his own words, boxing him in and making his 2011 withdrawal promise very difficult to uphold.
The problem is that Steele (once again) got his mouth in gear while his brain was still napping.
That said, I think it is long past the time Steele was replaced. There are just so many reasons why he is not the man we need in that position right now.
No. If it’s not worth explaining in the post, it’s not worth clicking the excerpt. It’s that simple.

I have never seen any reason to change my mind on Steele. I supported him and sent him money when he ran for Senate, but he has been a big disappointment as RNC Chair.
I think Fox has MSNBC/CNN pollsters counting the votes. LOL
