Last Saturday Fox News Channel cohost Rick Folbaum and Cal Thomas had this exchange about Michael Steele.
FOLBAUM: Rush Limbaugh hasn't really had a chance to weigh in on this yet. He hasn't been on the radio, at least not to my knowledge, since this first became public. What happens if Rush gets on the air on Tuesday or whenever he's back in the chair, and he says Michael Steele's gotta go? They've had their back-and-forth before. What do you think?
THOMAS: Yeah. That's right. Right. They did. And Limbaugh took him on and Michael had to apologize to Rush Limbaugh, and there are all kinds of editorials from the Washington Post and other places, columns, saying, you know, what is this? He's apologizing to a talk show host. But it's a pattern. And if the pattern -- look, everybody's entitled to one or two gaffes. If it becomes a pattern and he becomes the story, rather than the ideas and the issues and the objectives of the Republican Party, no person is worth keeping on for any reason who becomes a distraction.
RUSH: And they went on to say here that Michael Steele's job hangs in the balance, is hanging by a thread, depending on what I say today. ...(snip)

Priceless! Maha Rushdie confounds them again.
LOL - I love that guy. Rush, you da man!
The Democrats launch a website to “track” Republican “macaca moments” and then the Pravda Media runs with this non-story all weekend.
So transparent.

The Democratic National Committee is seeking Macaca moments. The party today is opening a website, www.accountabilityproject.com, designed to recruit and display embarrassing audio and video of Republican candidates, as well as information about their schedules and copies of their mailers.
Embarrassing moments, you say?
Like that time the Republican Congressman manhandled two student reporters on his way back from lunch?
Or like the time the Republian Presidential candidate asked a man in a wheelchair to get up and let the people take a look at him?
Or like the time the Republican speaker of the House told us to pass the bill so we can find out what’s in it?
THOSE candidates?
Rush is right.....again.
Sarah lives in their heads...Rush scrambles their brains.
This is what makes El Rushbo so great. I was laughing out loud reading this, it must have been great to hear on the air.
Even if Steele resigns, the democrat talking heads will say he was ‘forced out’.
Rush is handling it the right way.
Let (Republican) Colon Powell deal with it.
Should make the dems heads explode!
lol!
“Let (Republican) Colon Powell deal with it.”
ooops! forgot the /sarcasm tag!
:0)
LOL. The ‘Rats’ attempt to gin up a game of lets-you-and-him-fight ain’t going so well....
I listened to Rush’s decision to issue a FATWA and LOled. He should have been wearing some Arab clothing during his deliberations.
haha, Mika Brezezinski is a tool
Now the Byrd Defense (”He had to get elected!!”) is ripe for the picking
Rush has them by the short hairs.
Rush Bump.
I don't think anyone could have raised much money for the Party. Most people I know are fully disgusted with the Republican Party right now and have chosen to support individual candidates around the country. It wouldn't surprise me if more money has gone to individual candidates from people like me, who never contributed to the GOP anyway, than would have gone directly to them.
I would love to see Sarracuda in that post for a year or so. Although, again I have no faith in the GOP at this point and wouldn't want her considerable talent wasted on a losing cause. I don't know that I will ever get over my anger at ‘Republicans’ after the squandered the opportunity we gave them to have both Houses of Congress and the White House. They could have set America back on a correct course. But no, they acted just like Democrats and the result is history. Very sad history at that.
I say let the Party limp along through November with us supporting individual candidates around the country. I can't help but feel that would instill some fear in the GOP and make them a bit more likely to listen to us. They have been absolutely horrible lately at knowing what the faithful among us want and expect and doing what the hell they want to, the people be damned.
Steele has been, again IMHO, pretty unremarkable in the post. I'm not sure anyone could have done much more at this point. The GOP is a party that's needs to be reborn or killed off.
Rush was having a good time with it.
Reminded me of the good old days!!!
