Agreed.

The problem is the GOP seems totally incapable of mounting this kind of attack.

Elena Kagan is a very charming woman who would make a very toxic justice. Her strongly held “opinions” and past performance would tend to make her a biased justice. Biased justices tend to see things through the microcosm or prism of what they want it to be, rather than what it is. They tend to take risks to get what they want and push the envelope far beyond its bounds. That’s how we get legislative judges. That’s how we’ve gotten to the point we are. With no malice toward Ms. Kagen and all my best wishes for a truly happy and blessed life, I vote “No”. I begged America to take the same look at Barack H. Obama. I also find the Obama family a lovely and charming family and wish them nothing but the best in life. America decided he looked better through the prism of what it wanted, rather than what it was and, sadly, America got what it is. I think my dear sweet country is starting to understand what it did. The beauty here is truly only skin deep.

I see we have the usual useful idiots attacking McCain when he actually does something right - and completely distracting from the point of the article.

There’s another reason Kagan should be opposed, btw: she supports sharia and was very involved with a Saudi-funded institute intended to promote sharia compliant financing and sharia law at Harvard. Read this article for details: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2548880/posts

As for McCain, who cares? The important thing is that Kagan must be opposed.

The list now includes eight senators who officially oppose Kagan

Rats!! Now she'll only be confirmed by 92% of the Senate instead of 100%.

Kagan and Sotomayor are two of many reasons that we will be busy for decades undoing the damage that Obama has done to this country!! Once we dump the Dems from Congress and get zero out of the WH, we need to dispose of these two lying, radical leftists on the SCOTUS!!!

I’m not impressed. Has the smell of the GOP elite deciding how many “No” votes they need to put in to make a good showing and then giving those Senators permission.

As much as I hate abortion, I think that is the least of the things wrong with this communist bitch.

Here is a list of Senate Republicans and how they voted on Kagan for Solicitor General and how they voted on Sonia Sotomayor, along with a list of the nine Senators who have announced their opposition to Kagan for Supreme Court.
