It's patently obvious HLN host Joy Behar has a disdain for the conservative point of view. But is it because she is ideologically liberal, or perhaps does she just think it is "cooler" to be liberal?
On CBS's "Sunday Morning," CBS correspondent and sometime fill-in "Evening News" anchor Russ Mitchell interviewed the HLN host of "The Joy Behar Show." He asked her about views and where this view came from.
"Her unabashed liberal opinions often lead to some heated debates with her ‘View' co-hosts ... especially with the politically conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck," Mitchell said. "Where did this liberal streak come from?"

Later in life, many people mature out of liberalism and adopt conservative views, but many also cling to their 'benefits' and justify themselves by claiming to 'liberal' and thus, 'smart'.
That this is simply self-aggrandizing justification never seems to occur to these folks. That's why they aren't nearly as 'smart' as they like to pretend.
The current mess in Washington has been mostly caused by 'smart' liberals. Obama, a neo-Marxist, was supposed to be a near-genius. Obviously, he isn't even close to that. He's an a incompetent narcissist. This is typical of liberals. They talk a good game and love to call non-liberals 'stupid' (i.e. Sarah Palin now, Ronald Reagan, 'then') but when they're called on to prove their intellectual superiority, they fail, big-time.
Joy Behar is a has-been 'comedienne' with a spot on a popular TV show and a radio gig. She is not 'brilliant' and her comments prove nothing more than her inherent narcissism and complete lack of understanding what really separates liberals from conservatives. It's personal responsibility and a view that smaller government and lower taxes are good for everyone, including 'the poor' that leftists use to justify their wealth distribution schemes. Joy Behar is another clueless liberal, arrogant in her willful refusal to see herself for what she really is...because it isn't very much.
That makes any debate futile.
you hear this argument all the time (about liberals being more educated than conservatives) from the skanky likes of Behar, Garofalo, etc.....it’s been proven multiple times that the opposite is true. Any time you have an argument about the O with any liberal and they can’t come up with a reasonable defense of him, they just say that any criticism is “racist”. that’s the liberal line. Is that educated? Not to mention the beautiful and hilarious video from Howard Stern in Harlem asking liberals what they thought of O and his policies, and the majority were clueless as to his positions and goals, some even thinking that Palin was his running mate! They only wanted to vote for him for ONE reason. What do you suppose that is?

Ya know, if people stop watching her and people stop posting the outrageous things she says on FreeRepublic, she will go away a lot sooner. As long as she shows up in places like this, HLN will keep he show on TV because she is “provocative”.

If being liberal means one is smart, then Behar must be the smartest person on the planet. I welcome Joy Behar as the face and image of liberalism everywhere!

Great description. Notice too, how many leftists stay in careers where they (in essence) never have to grow up. Professors, actors, etc. They live and work in never-never land, where they are never challenged on the logic of their views. I think they truly think most of America sees things their way. (Not all, but most)
