> the pathetic 2003 “Millions for Reparations” rally on the
> National Mall.

Hey, I’m all FOR reparations.

Any American of African descent with a “reparations” chip on his shoulder should be offered $100,000 and a one-way ticket to the African paridise of his choosing, surrendering his US Passport along with his boarding pass at the gate.

Smart Americans of African descent will decry the fact that their ancestors were slaves, but will thank GOD that they were BORN FREE in the USA.

I am proud to support the Tea Party, and can firmly attest that it is NOT about race. In fact, the people who prominently make it about race, ALL THE TIME, are liberals.

Will the Tea Party leaders take a stand then, and condemn and vote on a resolution to repudiate the NAACP as a racist organization, which it is? Who has the courage to speak out the truth?

Probably not, can you imagine the calls of racism! if someone were to do that? But after hearing about the poor way that the NAACP treated Kenneth Gladney after he was attacked by BOTH WHITE AND BLACK UNION MEMBERS tells me that they are NOT about protecting minorities....only minorities who agree with liberal policy. They are the most racist of organizations, and no one has the courage to speak out against them.

>> I hope to heaven that there is at least one honest reporter in the WH press room that has the courage to GRILL Gibbs

NEVER happen. I hope I’m wrong though. It SHOULD happen!

Can you see the press corps after Laura Bush gives the keynote at an Aryan Nation meeting? And make no mistake, NAACP is EVERY bit as racist as any white supremecist group!

“The danger of the Tea Party is that people see them and think about periods in history when groups like them were much more powerful than they are now, and so a lot of what we spend energy doing is explaining to people what reality is,...”

If you have to explain reality, you are not in touch
with it.

But the NAACP is, by name, a racist hate organization.

Let's not forget the Black Caucus. Could you imagine the furor over a "White Caucus" or a "Patriots' Caucus?"

It seems clear that the Obama Administration is using racism accusations against its critics. Doesn’t matter, we will go right on criticizing.

I read somewhere that Muhammad Ali once told an interviewer something to the effect of “I’m GLAD my great-grandfather got on that boat.”

>> This fall the Democrats will be saying “Where da white voters?”

Yeah, they kind of suck at math.

“We’ll pull out all the stops to get 100% of the support of a group that makes up 18% of American voters! That’s... uh... 180%! Or is it 118%? Well either way WE WIN BIG!!!”

Imagine the shock on the morning after the election...

The left - represented here by Michelle Obama and the NAACP - is afraid of the Tea Party movement because it is truly 'grass roots' and demonstrates a public revulsion with the socialist schemes of the left. The 'racism' lie is easy and almost unavoidable when, as the left does, you take the position that any opposition to any Obama/Democrat policy is based solely on his (mixed) race. So much for electing a 'Black' president bringing racial harmony to America. Mostly, the exact opposite.

I believe that most Americans are not racist and a lot of them are getting fed up with being having the 'racist' accusation thrown at them every time they express concern about our gigantic national debt or any other Obama administration failure. I suspect that resentment toward being unfairly and inaccurately labeled 'racist' by Obama supporters and their media water carriers is a factor in the Tea Party movement.

The NAACP is being blinded by the color of Obama's skin and helping him, his wife and the Democrat party attempt to undermine support for the Tea Party. Constantly repeating lies about 'racist signs' at Tea Party rallies and 'racist epithets' being shouted at members of congress (without a scintilla of audio or visual proof, even when the occasion was recorded by many) is going to backfire.

Sadly, this kind of unjustified attack on ordinary Americans (Tea Party members) by a Black organization is only going to set U.S. race relations back even farther while adding to the political/cultural divide. I seriously doubt that another Black president will be elected in America in this century, after the mess Obama has made, his administration's bullying tactics and the left's lies and false 'racist' accusations against ordinary Americans protesting what they consider the folly of an inept administration.

Obama is disgracing the presidency and ruining our economy (by design), among other things, and his wife is his willing partner. As for the NAACP - they should reject any contributions from White people from this day on. Fat chance.

a protest march in Washington, D.C., Oct. 10

Kinda late to be rallying the troops.

O Divine Providence, may this coming election
shock the democrats with the vehemence of the
American peoples rejection of their socialist
policies. Lord protect and succor our nation
from further Democrat “victories”. amen.

"We have to close the enthusiasm gap," NAACP president Ben Jealous said in an interview with the Associated Press "

And the only way you can do that is label a group of people racist. They can't argue facts or policy, they can only use the race card. Oh, by the way Ben...nice last name. It says a lot about you and your bigoted group.

The only African descendants who do not express this truism are either too stupid to realize it or cynical demagogues appealing to the basest of instincts.

Which category does Michelle Obama fit into?

Now that should be an interesting list.

Ward Connerly attended an NAACP annual meeting several years ago and wrote an editorial for the WSJ. In it, he mentioned that it appeared to be mainly full of aging government workers, aka: quota queens.

Seeing as the charges of racist acts by the tea party are entirely fabricated, that the tea party has a not-inconsiderable black component and that demoralization and disappointment with the Great “O” are palpable in the black community I don’t anticipate anyone will show up for an anti-tea party rally by the time October 1st rolls around.

Not without “walking-around” money being spread liberally, at any rate.

I’ve never met a racists TEA party member. But the NAACP is, by name, a racist hate organization.

And sadly with the help of the knee-pad media they are making progress on discrediting the Tea Party. I pray that like myself, many are seething and will vote in November. This administration is running our country into the ground and calls us names as they do it.

Not in the NAACP. Grow up you crybabies.

The problem is that blacks (who make up 12% of the population, not 18%) are the darling of the media. Well, that is, lefty-manipulated blacks.

Media folks sure don’t like Justice Thomas, who has a heck of a lot better “African American” credentials than the half-Kenyan in the White House, or any other black person who is smart and has made it and is not obsessed with his color.

But because the Dems can use blacks to manipulate the media, they will get lots of whites to vote for programs that are directly targeted at and antithetical to whites, Asians or even Latinos (whom “officially approved” blacks do not like either).
