Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are already looking to bring outsiders into their upcoming marriage -- in the form of a reality TV crew ... this according to a source very familiar with the negotiations.
TMZ has learned the couple has been shopping "multiple reality shows" around town -- some of the ideas involve the couple AND their two-year-old son, Tripp.
We're told the leading concept involves all three people -- and will focus on "parenting issues."
It's unclear if the show would be based in Alaska ... or if Bristol's mom, Sarah Palin, would be involved in some capacity.
It looks like the couple could strike a deal in the near future -- we're told negotiations are "ongoing."
I think it’s a mutual decision since there is more than a little media whore in both of them. She’s been peddling her story to People and Us, shilling for abstinence groups, and basically doing all she could to stay in the spotlight. She isn’t being dragged into this kicking and screaming, not by a long shot. I don’t see either one as the reluctant party in this.
Whether or not it reflects poorly on Governor Palin is irrelevant.
Her family is doing her political career in and she doesn’t help. Know I will get flamed but she doesn’t stand a snow balls chance of ever being elected to president and if she gets the nomination it will guarantee Obama in ‘12.

Bristol has bad judgement. She proves it repeatedly:
1) Got pregnant by Levi Johnson out of wedlock
2) Did stupid CNN interview claiming abstience “doesn’t work”
3) Reconciled with Levi Johnson after he posed in Playgirl and dragged her family thru the mud
4) Possibly shopping for reality show with Levi

BINGO! He couldn’t make anymore money slamming the Palins, so he crawls back, begs forgiveness, and when Bristol caves, he says, boy, we could pay for our son’s collage fund with a reality TV show…
Bristol is among the stupidest young ladies I’ve ever heard of, thou when it comes to X boy friends, I’ve seen some really stupid things…
If this show goes through, I’m afraid Sarah’s chances of a political career are squashed.
Let’s face it, most of the voting block in the United States pays more attention to reality shows than politics. This same voting block went to Obama handedly. These are the people who still see Obama as cool and trendy. These are the people who follow MSNBC’s “news” word for word. These are the people that hate Sarah Palin without ever knowing a damn true thing about her. They only know of Sarah Palin as that Alaskan hillbilly that Tiny Fey makes fun of.
This crap will be spun heavily and will kill her chances at winning over independents and young voters who don’t think for themselves. And there are lots of them. Now she’ll be known as the mother of that trainwreck and her baby daddy on that one show.
There is nothing good to come of this. Bristol will be bankrupt in 10 years after sqaundering whatever money she makes from this, probably single, and will have come to the realization that she ruined what potential her mother and family had because of lust.
I agree. A lot of the haters won’t see that way. Somehow they want Sarah to ‘control’ Bristol and force her into some role. I think it reflects on her ideals of individual liberty to let Bristol do her thing.
When Bristol falls, she will be there to pick her up, as a good Christian mother would. But having Sarah control her daughter would backfire. Sometimes you have to let the kids go and fall, so they can learn. It appears as though Bristol will have to fall hard to learn her lesson, but I suspect she will.
And if people think Sarah is a bad parent, look are her eldest son. He went to the military and into combat. He is serving this country with honor.

There are plenty of kids who came from wonderful families whose parents did a great job of raising them and have them turn out not so well. We each choose our own path and it looks like she’s “in love” and letting him lead.
I don’t think anyone wants Sarah to control Bristol.
Bristol needs to control Bristol and grow up because she’s going to demolish her mother’s reputation more than MSNBC ever could if she doesn’t.
If you’re daughter got knocked up by some random sleeze bag who did horrible, wrecthed things to your family and suddenly wants back into your daughter’s life and to further make a mockery of the family by starring in a reality TV show, wouldn’t you step in?
Or would you allow your kid to ruin her life?

I wouldn't say it's irrelevant. Legally, yes, Bristol can do as she pleases, however, there is nothing wrong with any of us feeling an obligation to our families to not "shame" them. I wish Bristol had a better moral compass. Her behavior is detrimental to her family.
If this story has any truth in it, then it makes it clear that Levy has not repented, but that he has persuaded Bristol to take him back again.
Very unfortunate. But what can Sarah Palin do? Bristol is grown up and has to make her own decisions. Sarah can advise her, but she cannot force her.
Sometimes good parents have bad kids. That’s the nature of the world, and God’s gift of free will—ultimately, the kids have to make their own decisions, and sometimes they are not good.
Levy is a scum, and evidently Bristol had, and continues to have, poor judgment.
If Levy had truly repented, then maybe something could have been worked out. But if this story is true, then he’s still the loser we thought he was. Too bad that this has happened to this nice family, but such is life. I don’t see how it reflects negatively on Sarah, who I’m sure did not bring up her daughter to behave like this.
This isn't an issue of an adult child disagreeing on policy with their parents. It's about a teenager actively participating in a media circus.
When was the last time you heard about Amy Carter?
Amy Carter did not get pregnant out of wedlock during her father's political career and she was in ideological lockstep with him.
Even if she had gotten pregnant, the press would have protected her in a way that Bristol Palin should have known that she wouldn't be. The Palins know that conservatives are held to different standards.
The media is exploiting Levi and Bristol as they did Cindy Sheehan.
Which is why it is important not to be stupid enough to be exploited.
Bristol Palin should have been well aware of the following facts:
(1) The media is out to get her whole family.
(2) The father of her son is an irresponsible layabout who will prostitute himself and his personal life for financial gain.
(3) Anyone who particpates in a reality show demeans and cheapens themselves simply by allowing their private, personal moments to be taped.
(4) The exploitation of the Gosselin children has left a very sour taste in the public's mouth. Exposing little Tripp Johnston to this circus would be a very public failing as a mother.
The only possible outcome of this entire media blitz - from the speaking tour to the US Weekly interview to a reality show - is the sale of her family's integrity and credibility for a contractually stipulated amount of cash.
No one is forcing Bristol Palin to give interviews, make speeches or participate in a reality show.
