Veep Biden and Senatoe Graham had a quiet pow-wow on Thursday. Be concerned....

In a tiny little Hill blog piece yesterday, there was a blurb on an under-the-radar meeting, one-on-one, between Senator Lindsey Graham and Vice President Joe Biden.  This is worrisome on so....many....fronts.

Joe Biden, for all of his gaffes and foibles, is still one smart political operative.  He rode the train home to Delaware with Arlen Specter on his way home to Pennsylvania every single weekend for years and is the one that most folks believe orchestrated Arlen's party switch.   Interesting piece here on the possibility for a White House job for Specter after his career as a Senator comes to an end this fall.  Must be nice.

Biden served on the Judiciary Committee, even as its chairman, for many crucial years and knows the significance of judicial nominations among other important pieces of business that go through that committee.  Gang of 14?   Remember them?  Well, Graham was a key player in that little smoke-filled room and so was Biden.

A great deal can happen in a meeting like this, particularly when no one is watching terribly closely.   Knowing that both Biden and Graham really dig the media spotlight, a quiet meeting with no press screams that something terribly political is about to go down.

Rumor has it that Lindsey Graham may announce....

Of course being Graham it is concerning. He is not one of the better Senators with regards to RINO behavior. I would guess it has to do with Immigration or Cap and Trade. I think it is immigration.

As far as Elena Kagan, they have Snowe, Collins and Brownshorts on that one.

No.....This is all about Crap & Tax before November. They NEED that revenue NOW! And perhaps maybe they are going to throw in Amnesty, and are exchanging ideas on how to go about it. I'm sure they have some big donors who can hardly wait to sink their teeth into that plump, juicy source of unlimited and jail-proof corruption known as Cap & Trade. Hell, neither can they!

10 to 1 it has something to do with CO2 Cap and Tax. Cap and Tax is not dead. We need a lot more sunshine in politics. No more “Back Room Deals”. No more “privatize the profit, socialize the loses”.

But if Lindsey Graham goes Dem, the Sunday morning talk shows would have to find a new Republican to invite. Can’t be John McCain ALL the time.

Lindsey isn’t a RINO. He’s a commie ‘RAT mole posing as a Republican. McCain is his best buddy. McCain doesn’t hang with Republicans.

Can’t you South Carolina people get that jackass out of the Senate?

I’d be shocked if Lindsey changed parties. The special appeal he and McCain have to the MSM is their ongoing willingness to undermine and stab the Republicans in the back. If either went Dim, they’d lose that special appeal.

I expect this meeting was related to Kagan, Cap and Trade and/or amnesty for illegals.

Or all 3.

"That would be like one of us saying no to our Vice President of our company." What?

It would be like saying no to a VP from another company who is your competitor. That is unless you are selling corporate secrets to them!

No. In this case you refuse unless you can bring the Minority leader with you.

Mitch McConnell? Why would he meet with Plugs and PennyLoafer? Or perhaps that is your point.

Graham won’t be on Sunday but Biden will be on “This Week”. Let’s watch and see if he mentions anything.

Yep. If, for some reason, the GOP takes back the Senate, Graham is going to jump ship

Like I've said, there will be no true conservative CONgress. This is exactly what they will pull to keep it liberal.
