Buying toilet paper would mean cutting the funds for the Gay, Lesbian, and Transgender Student Alliance. This is a no brainer for the TamU administration.

Discussions still are under way, but it's likely that the larger dorm bathrooms where four or more gather - will keep the necessary item in stock. These are only bathrooms that are shared by 4 (or fewer) people. So basically, it's the dorms that cost more anyway. If they want free TP, they can move into a cheaper dorm that only has a couple of larger bathrooms/showers per floor.

Wait a second, this has nothing to do with trains! :P
When I was very young, Mom & Dad would tell me to conserve toilet paper because that's what president Ford told Americans they need to do. I think it was refering to some speech he made, I dunno, I was like 3 or 4 years old.
As far as Aggies having to pay for toilet paper, the proposal will come to an abrupt stop once the Texas A&M admins realize that forcing students to provide for themselves will turn many students into free-thinking consumers apt to loathe socialism.

That famous scene from Seinfeld soon may be playing out thousands of times in dorm bathrooms across the Texas A&M campus.
It's come to that.
To save money, the Department of Student Affairs is considering shelving free toilet paper in the residence halls ...Normally the removal of central planning of an issue increases supply. Removing government doesn't cause outages.

First how ‘bout cutting crap like “Poetry for Lesbian Basket Weavers” and giving the heave-ho to profs of worthless classes, and across-the-board salary cuts to all (ALL) staff and administrators. Oh, we can't do that!! How will we ever achieve sniff with the Crusterati? How will Manor Bush ever sell TAMU as the new Yale West? Oh, the humiliation! </s>

"Mister, you're talkin' to a proud graduate of Texas A&M.
"And that big fella at the end of the bar ... that's my brother Billy Dale; another graduate of Texas A&M.
"And the hefty dude playing the jukebox ... That's my Uncle James, one more graduate of Texas A&M."
"Now think, mister. Are you sure you wanna tell your Aggie joke?"

I graduated in ‘84. I don’t see a problem with kids in dorms buying their own toilet paper.
You have to buy all the other bathroom items, so why not add toilet paper. Plus, you can get the nice kind.
