Most states have rules about court-appointed lawyers. If you have over a certain amount in assets...they just won’t provide for it. I guess Michigan has got the money to cover this. Course, if she had been willing to put out a bit of personal funding...she might have gotten a better lawyer and worked a terrific deal.

Not to mention the $300K+ she transfered to him right before the trial. Scammers all, of them.
