Pretty interesting compilation. Maybe CBS thinks they are "outing" these celebs. Provides me a good list of people to support. Lots of tough guy actors, NASCAR drivers and country singers. Surprised to see Brittney Spears on the list.

I don’t know. Some of those links are tenous at best. 50 Cent comparing himself to George Bush and he’s a conservative republican now? Please! Brittney Spears statement about listening to the President because he knows best, that just sounds like a blond bimbo who doesn’t know much. I need a little more evidence than that to believe she’s a conservative republican. And being on the NRA board of directors, while a good thing does not necessarily label you a conservative or republican. John Dingell was on the NRA board once and no one confuses him with being conservative or republican.

But what is the point of this CBS list? My, they must be scrubbing the floor for news lately. This is hardly "news," more like a training assignment for some lowly staffer who had nothing better to report about lately. Shameful that they would stoop to researching about someone's political affiliation and consider it important. You know it was done to hurt these people in some way.
Journalists today are just paid slime balls/gossip mongers. Give them a backyard and a fence and let them hang out there and gossip and they would be right at home, like an Irish washerwoman or Molly Goldberg (If you remember her, LOL).
They don't report NEWS. There is no story here by reporting this stuff. It is just meant to be mean and vindictive. All honor is gone from journalism today and writers are immature poop collectors. All they want to do is find a way to embarrass or do harm to someone, or to expose them for something, in some manner. Sickening.

Unfortunately, being registered as an R. doesn’t mean they vote that way. Estefan just hosted a big gala for Obama, for example. And some of the listed celebs are no longer living.

Robert Duvall does not lean to the right. Nor is he a republican. However he is Zell Miller type democrat.
Drew Carey is a self-described libertarian. I suspect that he registered as a republican for the same reasons that Ron Paul is a republican.
The list is at least a year old. Both Dixie Carter and Ron Silver have passed away yet they are mentioned in the present tense.
