A coroner's inquest in the fatal Metro Police shooting of a man at a Summerlin Costco store has been postponed, but a new date has not yet been set, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office.
The original coroner's inquest was scheduled for Sept. 3.
Coroner Mike Murphy said the Clark County District Attorney's office asked for the postponement, so the inquest has been put on hold.
"It's not a question of if it's going to be conducted, but when," Murphy said.

Till the furor dies down and all the witnesses either forget or die, or are sufficiently intimidated or reeducated for the inquest to proceed, no doubt.

After Scott pointed the pistol at an officer, the officers fired at him, striking him multiple times, police said.doesn't sound like the same shooting the eye witnesses reported...

The Police Chief and other authorities have had time to review all the security camera footage.
They can’t find one piece of footage that proves Scott drew on them.
The LAS VEGAS POLICE always get their man, even if he’s innocent.
It’s a different newspaper than the one that’s been posted before. This one seems to shill for the LVPD.
An autopsy won’t settle much. We already know what killed him. Multiple police bullets.
What the man’s family and the citizenry at large deserve to see is the video, and to hear the 9-11 calls and other recordings obtained during this horrible incident.

The ‘tell’ was in the way the officials explained the ‘tape’ situation to the press.
They (police chief) said that they didn’t even know if there were any security cameras in COSTCO, or if they were on.
Also, there was something wrong with those cameras (which may or may not exist), which kept them from recording.
Even if the cameras (which may or may not exist) had recorded something , the media (tape ) had a problem as well, and probably didn’t record anything.
All the video tapes, (which may or may not exist, and may or may not be any good) have been securely locked away in a safe at the Attorney General’s office. (the one who postponed the coroner’s inquest)
In my experience, the kids who were bullies at 13, became cops at 23. And so it goes...
Were this my son the life expectancy of cops involved would be an open question.
It was posted that the tapes were sent to a company in Calif.
Sorry. The police chief, the Prosecutor, the Attorney General are all part of the greed,vice, and organized crime control of LV.
If it was shown that the police shot an innocent man, tourist revenue would go down, and Those officials who are running this coverup would be exposed.
THIS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. These officials have better protection than a sitting President.
