The ultimate approximation of the "public option" is almost a Soviet-style medical behemoth; hospitals with no medicine, doctors and nurses with no equipment, and waiting lines with no end. All you get is a cot and a washrag, but it's free, comrade. It's for the greater good.

And when a hip replacement only pays $100, how many people will study to be surgeons? When an office visit only pays $15, how many people will study to be primary care doctors?

Oboma/Ayers agenda - in their own words....

"The primary task of revolutionary struggle is to solve this principal contradiction on the side of the people of the world. It is the oppressed peoples of the world who have created the wealth of this empire and it is to them that it belongs; the goal of the revolutionary struggle must be the control and use of this wealth in the interests of the oppressed peoples of the world." "

No problem...I understand that these Dems want the public option.

However, I see EVERYTHING the Dems are doing these days (Obama going on The View, for example) as geared toward winning back their base and that's all they are set on right now, regardless of whether they think they really can achieve what they are saying.

Sort of like Obama in '08 telling lie after lie to his base (we'll close Guantanamo, we'll prosecute the "torturers", we'll give no one in the middle class a tax cut, we'll draw down the troops, etc.) just to get elected with no real intention of keeping any of those promises.

They're doing the exact same thing now. Interesting thing is...a lot of these Dems are now on to them.

Oboma is out there right now claiming he and his family are suffering right along with the rest of us. In fact, he has a 4 million dollar mansion and 5.6 million in the bank. Awwww. Poor, suffering Oboma.

Awwww. Poor, suffering Oboma. He feels our pain (but he's not willing to spread HIS millions around so the poor can have a chance, is he?).

this has ZERO chance of passage... they are basically just throwing a bone to their liberal base for the November election...

basically.. see we TRIED to pass the public option... the votes just weren't there.

But this is common sense. The Democrats are going to replace this complicated graphic ...

With this much simpler one ...

I’m right with you, GoCards. I’ve been very close to composing my opus several times over the past few weeks. I just can’t stand it any more. And November? When have we found that changing the parts ever changed the overall corrupt government machine? All I hope for is to gain enough power to be able to put together some real opposition against the scoundrel(s), but who knows? They don’t seem very worried.

My “explode” meter works by degrees. Just when I think I can't read one more assault on me and this country without going crazy, I read about yet another socialist attack.

And then I just step back and regroup. You and I are not alone in our extreme frustration and anger. We've got to remember that we must stay focused, continue to stoke the fires of courage and resolve within us, stand united with others who are like minded, have a plan of action to seek out, support and vote for conservatives, get out the vote and do all we can as poll watchers, etc. and WIN in November. November is the summit, the hill I have to take, the measure of where I stand in this fight to save this country from socialism.

There comes a time when we must take a stand for what we believe in and are willing to fight for. I never thought that in my lifetime I would have to make a decision about what I will do to stop an enemy from within this country who is hell-bent on destroying me and the Constitution, my freedoms, culture and beliefs.I just finished a book by Hugh Ambrose about the experiences of certain soldiers who fought horrific battles on Guadalcanal, Peleliu, Iwo Jima and Okinawa, to name a few islands. My God, these men went through some kind of hell on earth to save our country and win the war in WWII, as they have in all wars. They had a job to do and they stepped up and did it.

Our time is coming when we will have to take a stand, step up and do the job as the boots on the ground in this country. Be prepared, have a plan of action, join groups/organizations of people who believe as you do, and pray for guidance and direction. I can't forget that George Washington lost many a battle with the British, until he won the war. This is my plan of action, subject to change.

The US cant even run the Post Office in black ink.
FedEx is light years ahead of it.
True they don’t send junk mail but I’m certainly willing to get rid of it.

Private schools could do far better than 99% of public schools.
And they think that the government can run health care? LOL!!
People will die like flies.

I guess they figure if they shove all this stuff through now there won’t be any way of righting this ship. They are mistaken.

“We are introducing the public option now so it will be available as a ready-made offset or deficit reducer in this or the next Congress.”

BWAHAAAAHAAAA!!!

I just got up off the floor from reading that and then I read this----

Schakowsky argues that the lower overhead costs of government plans such as Medicare would allow the public option to create a better deal for consumers.

Your're killing me, I tell ya--you're killing me!

lol I swear you can’t make this stuff up. There is nothing better for conservatives than a liberal with an open mic to say what ever the hell crosses their mind.

Lynn Woolsey? Isn’t this the foreign policy genius who said we should bring our troops home from Afghanistan, and instead send an army of civilians to “rebuild” their country? Snort. No doubt her health care expertise will be (ahem) equally valuable.

Since they've already taken away Granny's Medicare, the Demwits are getting ready to destroy Social Security, and to that end are building memes: The Pubbies don't have the votes to do any such thing.

I purchase my own BCBS health insurance plan, have done so for more than ten years. I just found out this week that my plan is going up 35% a month! I’m sure it is a direct response to the passage of the health care bill.
