Rep. Jose Serrano (D-Bronx) defends Obama from Palin's lack of “cojones” put-down
Sunday August 1, 2010

Serrano (D-Bronx) said that that taking on the law which is broadly popular nationally takes a lot more fortitude and guts on the part of Obama.

“If she believes that that slang word in Spanish means having courage, having guts, well, it’s clear to me, that he’s the one with the guts,”"Passing a law that discriminates against people? That’s not courage to me — that’s being wrong. Courage is going back and saying you can’t do that.”

“It would have been nice to see Sarah Palin learn other Spanish words like “Constitucion,” or maybe “amore a la Consticion” - love for our Constitution,”

Wait a minute now. Serrano is trying to defend the “man” (Obama) who tried to eviscerate Honduras’ Constitution by savaging Sarah for trying to defend ours? Calate, tonto!

Passing a law that discriminates against people? That’s not courage to me — that’s being wrong.

What an idiot. I suppose he has the courage to take on laws that discriminate against murderers as well.

So making people follow the stinking LAW, even if their skin is brown, means nothing to Mr. Serrano? Cabeza de caca.

So once again, the thin-skinned Zero can’t step up for himself. He’s a wuss when he’s saying that he’s looking for an ass to kick. 0bama is a man of the new age, he carries himself like a total fairy.

Obama is the chief law enforcement officer, it’s not his job to pick and choose which laws to enforce.

Until or unless she is running against him he will never utter a word that would lend her credibility. As president he shouldn’t anyway but in his case its not preservation of the dignity of the office but a real fear of the future Madame President.
Once the running starts,if shes in the field,he will go after her and her alone.

Sept. 1, 2007

New York, NY - Senator Jose M. Serrano (D-Manhattan/Bronx) today applauded Governor Eliot Spitzer’s decision to sign into law a bill that would provide much needed assistance for artist housing needs.

The legislation, introduced by Assemblywoman Joan Millman (D-Brooklyn), would provide grants over a two-year period of $12,000 for individual artists, or $22,000 for a group of artists who share live-work space.

“This legislation is long overdue for the artists in our communities,” said Senator Serrano. “Artists, in so many ways, provide the cultural vitality and the economic machinery that our growing communities need. Governor Spitzer recognizes this fact, and I congratulate him for supporting this legislation.”
