Rescheduled, not cancelled: Breitbart to get RNC invite

The Republican National Committee has cancelled a fundraiser with conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart, who is under fire for promoting an edited video that falsely portrays former Agriculture Department employee Shirley Sherrod as having boasted about discriminating against a white farmer looking for her assistance.

Breitbart was scheduled to appear with RNC Chairman Michael Steele at a reception later this month in Beverly Hills.

Steele is a gutless wonder that should have been gone a long time ago.

It doesn’t surprise me that he would side with the black racist’s view of the events.

The RNC believes that by kissing the butts of mexicans , blacks , and liberals that they will all become good little Republicans.

Remember when Bush was scorned by the NAACP after he attended one of their functios.

If you do not go to these entitlement crooks with your gift in hand forget them and try to earn the vote of real Americans. Republicans do the opposite.

The term “Uncle Tom” is used by Blacks to castigate and condemn blacks that do not embattle whites.

I think we can now use the term “Uncle Powell” to refer to blacks who are appointed and promoted by whites and who then use their position to promote black causes and to harm whites.

Breitbart did not "edit" the video. He provided a link to the full video. The video does not falsely portray Sherrod as proud of her impulse to be racist: It accurately portrays the NAACP audience as proud of the racist impulse!

The whole point of Breitbart's highlighting the video was to make the point that it is all too easy to find out-of-context videos that appear to show someone as racist, and all to easy to show racist sentiments among audiences—whether or not such videos present the real story.

One moral of the story is that it's all too easy to smear people as racist, to ruin their reputations, regardless of whether they deserve it. That was Breitbart's point, and he's made it quite emphatically.

Let the moderates support the GOP. Conservative must support the NRCC (to retake the House), individual senate and house candidates, and the RGA. If you have money left, give to the NRSC (although this might be a stretch). But not to the GOP until better leadership is in place!

12. There are three ways in which a ruler can bring misfortune upon his army:--

13. (1) By commanding the army to advance or to retreat, being ignorant of the fact that it cannot obey. This is called hobbling the army.

14. (2) By attempting to govern an army in the same way as he administers a kingdom, being ignorant of the conditions which obtain in an army. This causes restlessness in the soldier's minds.

15. (3) By employing the officers of his army without discrimination, through ignorance of the military principle of adaptation to circumstances. This shakes the confidence of the soldiers.

So the RNC is once again 0-3 on the Sun Tzu incompetence scale.

No, they’ve finished him off as far as the two-party system is concerned.

But there is a viable third party now, a true grassroots party, and THAT is the group of patriots that Breitbart represents.

How do we get rid of Steele? He’s an embarrassing eunuch. Anyone have a direct number to the RNC that they will answer. I call and the phone rings and rings and rings.

CNN getting it wrong again. Breitbart was highlighting the NAACLP audience members cheering for the racist part of her story. He never was demonstrating that she was a racist.
