U.S. naval planners are scrambling to deal with what analysts say is a game-changing weapon being developed by China an unprecedented carrier-killing missile called the Dong Feng 21D that could be launched from land with enough accuracy to penetrate the defenses of even the most advanced moving aircraft carrier at a distance of more than 1,500 kilometers (900 miles).

Actually, the best way to defeat China militarily is to use their population against them: 1.1 billion mouths need a LOT of food and water.

Wholeheartedly agree. The Russians have been working around the clock to keep the Chinese from expanding their business interests in Central Asia, and I suspect that it’s the Russians who funnel support to the Chinese Moslems. The Chinese are by and large not foolish enough to want a war with the US, because no matter how costly they might make it for us, we would literally annihilate them. However, people do not always act sensibly, as we have reminded numerous times, such as the election of 2008.
