It is, obviously, self-referential to quote yourself, but I do it to make a point. I wrote the following on New Year's day, 1994. You’ll notice the belle of East Rutherford uses terms like “our thought leaders”. Just that term tells the reader what side she’s on.
And she can't address immigration without resorting to that overused and untrue nonsense. How many times does it have to be said that if we enforce the law and cut off the job and government benefit lures, the illegals will largely self-deport, and those that don't can be deported as they come in contact with law enforcement over the months and eyars. Those who refuse to see that simply don't want our laws enforced, or the illegal alien problem solved.

I agree. I sense a hack writer trying to scramble back up the slipperly slope to keep those cards and letters (containing checks) comin’ in. She’s a gifted wordsmith but after allowing her true colors to show through in 2008 I read her stuff occasionally with about as much credibility as I’d give to a RINO who will say whatever it takes to get elected.
They aren't allowed to come here, or stay here, because we are compassionate, but because certain of our "leaders" need them to force fundamental changes upon the nation, changes against our wishes, changes they cannot impose any other way.
Unfettered illegal immigration is the stone that will kill our republic, and give the would be dictators the easily corrupted democracy they desire.
