You can PROVE that you're a male, female or pregnant. How do you prove that you're GAY? (vanity)

This applies to the BRAND NEW gay marriage law.

You can prove where you were at some point and time. You can prove that you pay taxes. You can prove you're pregnant.

In the eyes of the court, how do you prove that you're gay?

Let me be clear - I saw the girl first,

then I noticed that she had a glock 19 with a glock 17 magazine.

Hey, I like stucco... But in a manly way...

And I like you, too...<movie quote>in a totally heterosexual way. </movie quote>

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure out what gun that is...because, unlike girls, I can collect guns.

If go to Youtube and post a 3 minute, 30 second video clip of yourself blubbering and carrying on over a rainbow... like your gay lover has just proposed marriage to you...

What does this mean?

I've commented on this before, but it's been a while. I know nothing about being homosexual, but as a recovering alcoholic, I see a lot of parallels between the two conditions. First, they are both compulsions leading to self-destructive behavior in the name of gratification. You can find teams of physicians, psychologists, behavioral therapists, etc. who will argue the "nature" vs. "nurture" aspects of the two behaviors from now until kingdom come, and some may even show hard data supporting either side of the argument. I would suggest that arguments recognizing only the hereditary vs. learned behavior aspects of either alcoholism or homosexuality will ever accrue any value unless and until a third dimension, the spiritual, is recognized.

For me, either side of the nature/nurture argument is unproductive. If it were definitively proven that alcoholism is genetic, then I have a perfect excuse ("I was born this way") for my compulsion. If on the other hand, it can be shown that the behavior is purely learned, then I can convince myself that it can be "unlearned" and controlled. Either path will be to my detriment, and consequently it's an argument I tend to avoid altogether. My personal experience and observation of others indicates that alcoholism can be successfully dealt with and managed when viewed as a spiritual shortcoming, and I suspect homosexuality is similar.

In that regard, I pity homosexuals, not only because of their malady, one which I believe I can identify with through my alcoholism, but because there is an agenda out there pushing society to accept and embrace it. Legitimizing gay marriage creates a protected class and provide social sanction and forced acceptance of a behavior similar to finding that public drunkenness laws should not apply to alcoholics. They are deviant behaviors, and excusing, or even elevating them will only result in more of them, much to the detriment and heartbreak of the people who indulge in them.

They can pretty much do that now. Just have to be friends of different sexes at the moment, in most places.

Well, there you go. Gay marriage will be defined as marriage between a man and another man.

Or a man and another man and another man.

Yes, and there are also Green Card marriages. Although I think male/female friendships always have a bit of tension to them that female/female ones don't have.

Oh well... this isn't my biggest objection to it anyway.

there is no love or mating test in marriage.

If all that is required is benefits, the marriage for immigration papers should be legal too.

It “means” he should not have forgotten to pack his “Identifying Edible Mushrooms” handbook.

Here is an “objective” court approved method for finding out what turns you on. There are lots of problems with it but it has been used to prove “gayness” or at least a physiological response to “gay” stimuli.

http://www.allencowling.com/false13.htm

“The tests has been used to weed out false gays, in the treatment of sex-offenders, in sentencing decisions for sex offenders, as a condition of parole for certain sex offenders and in some child custody cases to determine if a father is or is not likely to abuse his child. Some psychologists use the PPG to measure the success of the therapy.”

..............................

here ya go, a test method. Sort of objective, certainly better than monitoring wrist position or ability to recall show tune lyrics.

I would say the same thing. How are these gays supposed to know someone is gay, and not bisexual? How do you tell one is gay before they come out about it? I have likewise never gotten an answer.

Sounds like the Bible was true when it does not condone the act.
