"Uncomfortable" was the word of the day at Morning Joe when it came to discussing Michelle Obama's decision to go on a luxurious vacation to Spain in the midst of a recession—and to miss celebrating her husband's birthday with him to boot.
Chuck Todd didn't go into details, but NBC's clearly ill-at-ease political director suggested: that this was a "private decision" by the First Lady; that it wouldn't have made any difference what the Pres. Obama's political advisors would have said; and that "you get the sense here that there was something more to this" than pure politics.
Joe Scarborough reinforced Todd's message: "this is part of a bigger narrative, isn't it, about Michelle Obama?"

I can see big MO using this trip as a poke in B.O.’s eye to almost sabotage him. She’s very unhappy in her marriage and is fed up with his side action with men AND women (Oprah). (Remember that she was ready to seek divorce at some point before the election.) I can see her storming out and going abroad against ALL wise counsel about how bad it will look, blah, blah, blah. She may have said something like, “If you’re going to continue cavorting around and not changing your ways like you promised, then you can COUNT on my having some fun too—with or without you. The girls and I never see you anyway. I really couldn’t care less if you run again and lose.”
Meanwhile, tubby Bobby Gibbs and all the other spinners are left to somehow make it look normal and legit.
From either point of view (Bambi or Michelle) I would think either would be glad to get away from the other. He is a big wuss and she is a big wookie.
If the Republicans win in November, you can bet Hillary will run against Obama for the Nomination.

It’s all bullcrap. They (MSM) are trying their best to imply that there was ‘something’ else in play here (oh the seriousness of it! We just don’t understand!) and on another thread, she went to Spain with a ‘friend’ who is sick or who just lost a loved one or maybe both. It’s a lame attempt at deflecting the actual disdain we have for this woman and her lying, depraved, marxist husband.
Do us a favor...don’t play devil’s advocate again. I could have gone all century without being reminded about the Clinton escapades and how they wasted our money. It’s disgusting...these people need to be physically dragged out of the WH and thrown in prison.

Aside from the logic of it, the fact that this narrative is arising from the lefties at MSNBC should tell us something. They're trying to spin something sympathetic out of hopelessly declasse behavior.

The sad part is, that’s not just a stereotype. I’ve seen that. More than once. One time, it was on a client’s car (yes, a Prius). I was at their house doing an appraisal inspection a few months after the 2008 election. The house was full of Obama paraphenalia. You can imagine how I had to bite my lip.

I don't buy it. obama attacks Iran, and his lefty base goes bonkers. The 40% of the coutnry that is right leaning goes ballistic; recognizing that he is putting US servicemen at risk, solely in order to wag the dog. He might get some of the squishy middle; for the most part he loses more than he gains in that scenario.
As stupid and ignorant as the crew in the WH is, I find it hard to beleive they are that dumb.
