They enforce their borders and laws buy removing violators from their nation.
While being strictly against us enforcing ours by using the same tactics.

While being strictly against us enforcing ours, if we try to use the same tactics.
The Vatican IS NOT a single, Bishop from Los Angeles!
Are you interested in honest debate, or just out to push your own personal Anti-Catholic venom?
Canon Mary Glasspool (left), and Canon Diane Bruce, bishops-elect with the Bishop of Los Angeles, the Rt Revd Jon Bruno, at the Los Angeles diocesan convention last week
It’s not just one bishop. The official policy, not just of the Catholic Church but that of most Christian sects, seems to be that Western nations have an obligation toward all less fortunate people. The “thinking” is that we must follow Christ’s compassionate example: Feed the hungry, heal the sick, clothe the naked. They never remember that Jesus never said we must steal from those that have and give it to those who don’t. Of course He also said that it was harder for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. So maybe the socialist Christian do-gooders have the rich man’s best interests at heart—By stealing their money and giving it to the poor, they’re just trying to help the rich get into heaven.
GOOD!
The venom came from you - curb your tongue. And as for "honest debate," where is your honesty in labelling the president of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops a "single, Bishop from Los Angeles?"
You slap rudely and misrepresent the status and seriousness of what is going on, and then claim some sort of moral high ground? And through implication, you split the Vatican away from all of it with zero authority. You are way out of line here.
IN FACT, millions of people, Catholic and non-Catholic, are awaiting a Vatician statement on the position this president of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops has taken.
Also IN FACT, the Vatican is EXACTLY where the focus should be in this matter.
Arguing for a Protestant-style independence of interpretation is repulsively hypocritical.
I do not believe that valid Catholic doctrine dictates that the people of one country are OBLIGED to take care of people from another country.
The more fortunate have an obligation to look after the less fortunate, As An Expression of their love for God and all of His children.
This is entirely different from denying that a nation cannot have borders.

I sincerely believe you are the one out of line! If the US Conference of Catholic Bishops declared that war was immoral, that would not make it so!

This is not a new dress code. As it always did, it simply relies on respect, common sense and taste, all of which seem in short supply these days.
Bishop Bruno is a Bishop in the Episcopal Church.
Sorry. Hard to tell one “Bishop” from another.
Short sleeves seem to be permissible for the guys, but not muscle shirts. In a twist, men must wear full length trousers, but the women can get away with knee length cut offs.
The methodology of the USCCB, insisting to hijack the entire American government system which represents Protestants, Jews, Buddhists, and atheists as well as Catholics, to bring the Mexicans over to America rather than insisting their welfare while they live in Mexico, is quite biased and short sighted if not just plain immoral. IIRC there is an item in the “official” catechism condemning such an approach.
rather than insisting their welfare => rather than encouraging private assistance to their welfare
