this is one of the biggest frauds this administration has put out there.

If school districts are having trouble paying salaries, they simply raise the school taxes of their district.

But now, my district’s residents will be paying for teachers somewhere else.

There were NO layoffs pending anywhere in my area, how about yours, or anywhere else? I haven’t heard of any school district unable to raise taxes to avoid any “layoffs”

Yet, the soon to be dinosaur media will repeat the lie.

This bill also forces one state - Texas - to maintain or raise their educational spending or risk losing $830MIL in federal education moneys!

A Dem from Texas wanted to make sure that Texas does not cut education spending while CONSTITUTIONALLY balancing their budget!

Complete BS!!

OK

So what happens in a few months when the socialist states can't pay their bloodsucking public sector employee union members again?

Hey Zero!

We don’t need no education
We don’t need no thought control

locally - this does nothing for the upcoming school year.
The teachers were already laid off, and the budgets have already been voted upon and passed.

If schools were to rehire teachers - they may have to send their budgets back for a vote?

Now, why would they need $26 billion more, when there is still $431 billion left from the first ($787) stimulus???

Grrrr...enough bailing out pensions and unions. LET EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM FAIL!!!

We need to bail out this government, but I’m not talking about using money.

Lawmakers streamed back to Washington for a one-day session as Democrats declared a need to act before children return to classrooms minus teachers laid off because of budgetary crises in states that have been hard-hit by the recession...The aid for the states is to be paid for mostly by closing a tax loophole used by multinational corporations and by reducing food stamp benefits for the poor.
No problem there -- the Demwits already have vowed to restore the food stamp expansion, and the remaining multinationals will soon move out of the US for good.

My God, there is still 400 billion of the stimulus that hasn't been spent and this damned socialist congress voted for another 26 billion.

Words betray me.

H.R. 1586 was originally something about extra taxes for TARP recipients, then something about air traffic control (same # completely different text), now education bailout spending for the dem’s main constituency.

They did this merely by keeping the number the same, assigning a blank title, and changing the text (which they don’t read anyhow).

The XXXX Act of XXXXX?

From Thomas:

There are 6 versions of Bill Number H.R.1586 for the 111th Congress. Usually, the last item is the most recent.
1 . To impose an additional tax on bonuses received from certain TARP recipients. (Introduced in House - IH)[H.R.1586.IH][PDF]
2 . FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act (Engrossed Amendment Senate - EAS)[H.R.1586.EAS][PDF]
3 . To impose an additional tax on bonuses received from certain TARP recipients. (Engrossed in House [Passed House] - EH)[H.R.1586.EH][PDF]
4 . XXXXXXAct ofXXXX (Engrossed Amendment Senate - EAS)[H.R.1586.EAS2][PDF]
5 . Aviation Safety and Investment Act of 2010 (Engrossed Amendment House - EAH)[H.R.1586.EAH][PDF]
6 . To impose an additional tax on bonuses received from certain TARP recipients. (Placed on Calendar Senate - PCS)[H.R.1586.PCS][PDF]

And from Cong Record:

(for herself, Mr. HARKIN, Mr. REID, and
Mr. SCHUMER)) proposed an amendment
to the bill H.R. 1586, to modernize the
air traffic control system, improve the
safety, reliability, and availability of
transportation by air in the United
States, provide for modernization of
the air traffic control system, reauthorize
the Federal Aviation Administration,
and for other purposes; as follows:
In lieu of the matter proposed to be inserted,
insert the following:
SHORT TITLE
SECTION 1. This Act may be cited as the
‘‘llllll Act of llll’’.
TITLE I
EDUCATION JOBS FUND
EDUCATION JOBS FUNDS
SEC. 101. There are authorized to be appropriated
and there are appropriated out of any
money in the Treasury not otherwise obligated
for necessary expenses for an Education
Jobs Fund, $10,000,000,000: Provided,
That the amount under this heading shall be
administered under the terms and conditions
of sections 14001 through 14013 and title XV
of division A of the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Public Law 111–5)
except as follows:
(1) ALLOCATION OF FUNDS.—
..........................................
We must vote out all incumbents.

How many payoffs does the democrat voter base expect to get? It seems like every other day there’s another zillion dollar spending bill for another democrat constituency that has to be passed or the world will stop spinning.

The Constitution. The very basis of our Nation, the supreme law of our Nation is an ignored, trampled, and unenforced legal document at the hands of the Marxist/Leftists.

Everything they are doing is illegal, and that must be our belief as we take back control of what’s left of our country.

They must pay for their deliberate destruction of our system of government, and our economy. They have screwed over not only our Nation, but the entire Free World that depended upon our morality, and our strength.

Gee, taking food away from the hungry and giving it to $100,000/yr education bureaucrats - yeah, that's really kind and compassionate.
