SILVER SPRING, Md. Montgomery County police said a man wearing a burqa robbed a bank in Silver Spring. Police said the man who robbed a TD Bank branch on Briggs Chaney Road about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday was wearing a "long black burqa over his face." He also wore jeans and tan boots.

Why am I laughing?
Me too.
Lol. It is sort of humorous, but don’t you think the guy would stand out in a crowd?
The hunt for Osama Bin Laden continues...
Wearing a burka means that you won’t get stopped at the door! If he was, he would have said it’s was discrimination! What a great country! sarc
The politicians who won’t ban the burka are responsible for the crime.
Try walking into a bank with a mask on your face. They call the cops. Try walking into a bank with a burka on your face. They fall down in submission.
This country is in deep doodoo.
We knew it had to happen sooner or later.
Burqa: the new fashion statement for crinimals.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Apparently there have been numerous burqa crimes...
Come on, it isn’t the burka that’s the problem- it’s the person wearing it.
“burqa crimes”...that’s right, inanimate objects don’t commit crimes (as in guns, SUVs, etc.)
I should say “man or woman wearing a burqa”. They said they didn’t know if it was a man or woman in the robbery pictured above. From the look of the eyes it reminds me of a terrorist photo.
Of course people can walk around wearing a burqa without causing suspicion, unlike someone wearing a ski mask, rubber mask, stocking over head, etc. Now one of the local banks here in Virginia has a notice on the door requiring the removal of hat and/or sunglasses before entering.
Maybe there should be a waiting period for burkas.
I’m thinkin’ that is a great point for discussion. Or perhaps- all US jurisdictions fully support the proscribed Second Ammendment Rights, afforded by God. Yep, the discussion is coming first. Good.
