Using the NAACP's resolution against Tea Party "racism" as a model, I hereby ask YouTube to repudiate their racist users.
"I take no issue with Google's YouTube community. I believe in freedom of assembly and people raising their voices in a democracy. What I take issue with is the YouTube’s continued tolerance for bigotry and bigoted statements. The time has come for them to accept the responsibility that comes with influence and make clear there is no place for racism & anti-Semitism, homophobia and other forms of bigotry on their website."The following are real comments from YouTube users on the Black & Right channel alone. They have not been Photoshopped and distributed by Think Progress.

Bob, that is very unfortunate that you have to put up with that garbage. I’ve seen comments like that on postings of other videos. Makes me sad that imbeciles like those you posted are allowed to even vote!
Now, I may be misunderstanding what you wrote, though. Are you saying that these comments are coming from members of Think Progress?
No, Think Progress distributed “racist” Tea Party signs that were Photoshopped.
Now, do I think liberals wrote these comments? Most probably.
I read these comments & it’s hard to know what to say. Leftists? Is this kind of vitriol because the site is conservative?

They came from numerous YouTube channels and this is only a sliver of such comments on the over-150 videos I’ve posted.
Sick. Sadly, this is par for the course on youtube. Posters write the most vile comments on any subject, from motor racing to hunting, whether there is disagreement or not. As I’m not computer literate, wouldn’t it be difficult to moderate a site with so much traffic?

You are a black person and conservative. Is this the way black human beings get treated if they express conservative beliefs? Oh my God! It makes me cry.
I contribute to other sites and some have filters that won’t allow me to use some of the language those who read my columns are accustomed to. IF they wanted to, they could, and I’m told they are hypersensitive if you rag on a protected minority. Black conservatives, conservatives in general, are fair game on YouTube.
I see. I’ve heard complaints about YT pulling certain un-PC videos but didn’t realize they could filter comments as well. Thanks for responding and keep up the good fight.
