Somehow, Joe Biden fails to mention Robin Carnahan
St. Louis Post-Dispatch ^ | August 21, 2010 | TONY MESSENGER

Missouri's secretary of state, Carnahan is running for U.S. Senate in one of the most high-profile races in the nation. She faces an uphill battle against seven-term Congressman Roy Blunt, a well-funded Republican from Springfield who has a clear lead in most polls.

But before Biden took the stage, neither of them mentioned the one Democrat — Carnahan — who is so integral to the party's chances of holding on to the U.S. Senate in November.

Neither did Biden. The vice president was fired up. He all but guaranteed that Democrats would be the big winners on Nov. 3.

"Were it not illegal, I'd make book on it," Biden said.

Biden praised Senate leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. He even brought up Republican Senate candidates Rand Paul of Kentucky and Sharron Angle of Nevada, the poster children for what Biden called the Republican Tea Party.

But no Carnahan. Not once.

Such consistency in message — or lack thereof — is no accident.

Carnahan is stinging from Blunt's first big ad, the one showing President Barack Obama next to her at an event in Kansas City, mentioning how much he needs her vote to help accomplish his agenda.

And then Thursday happened. On the day Democrats arrived in St. Louis, Carnahan reversed course on the very Bush tax cuts that were lampooned in several speeches at Union Station. Carnahan now says she supports extending those cuts, even those that go to the "millionaires and billionaires" derided by Sebelius in her speech.

Therein lies the Missouri Democrat's dilemma.

If Biden were any stupider, they’d have to water him everyday.

Joe Biden looks just like the devilish Jack Nicholson (The Joker) in that photo.

The Vice-President is genuinely a dual personality, half-buffoonish, half creepy.

Further proof that liberalism is dysfunctional by default. It doesn’t work anywhere, anyhow.

And now it’s time for these bas***** to face the music.

She faces an uphill battle against seven-term Congressman Roy Blunt,
a well-funded Republican from Springfield who has a clear lead in most polls.

Maybe I'm biased being here in probably the most liberal town
in Missouri (Columbia, MO, home of the U. of Missouri).

But I think Blunt is the one facing an "uphill battle".
His son, the former MO governor is hated in this bastion of liberalism
(even though his prudent managment of state spending has been
the salvation of our current Democratic governor, Jay Nixon)

Carnahan is just another part of the Carnahan Dynasty.
And somehow, some way, she and her Democratic drones will find
a way to win, e.g., by suing to keep polling places open
in St. Louis and Kansas City MO until enough votes are manufactured to
assure a Carnahan win.

My prayer right now?
That I'm proved wrong and Blunt carries the day on Nov. 2.

There are undercurrents happening. These people are just too supremely confident...Reminds me of the deathcare debacle, that fix was in long before ‘passage’. They have shown what they are capable of.

A bullet in the head is too good for these people. Ok post may be pulled but let’s face it, dynamite isn’t going to dislodge these marxists.

Why should they worry. The ballot boxes are all ready stuffed in their favor.

NONE of the speakers mentioned Carnahan. Its like they are thinking if we don't talk about her, they will forget she a flaming liberal democrap.

As a side note, I saw the first anti-Carnahan ad last night. It was great! Whoever did it, keep up the good work!

NO MORE CARNAHANS!
