Last night President Obama and First Lady Obama dined at State Road Restaurant in West Tisbury on Martha’s Vineyard.
Their dinner companions were family friends Dr. Eric and Cheryl Whitaker, senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, and lawyer and business executive Vernon Jordan and wife Ann Dibble Jordan.
As they departed the restaurant at 9:55 pm ET, reporters asked the president if he was enjoying his vacation even with the rain.
"I'm having a great time,” the president said. “Doing a lot of reading"
Among the president’s reading materials is Jonathan Franzen’s “Freedom,” which is not yet on shelves. During a weekend visit to a local bookstore in Vineyard Haven the owner gifted the president with the store’s advanced reading copy.

I’m so glad he’s having a nice vacation. Those of us that couldn’t take one this year need to know that our betters are enjoying the American Dream. It makes us feel good to look up from our labors and see His Majesty relaxing with his pet Wookie.

Wee Wons is my (feeble) attempt at humor in naming the Obama girls (the ones who are always ‘absent’ from every photo except ice cream stands; quasi-Gulf Coast beaches; and meetings with Spanish Royalty.
See I call their dad, Duh Won (because remember, he told us, He Won!)...and the whole familia travels (on our dime) on Air Force Won!
I promise to work on really snarky nicknames for Jarrett and Jordan (right now all I can come up with is matching tee shirts; with arrows; saying ‘I’m with the Won.’)

All the people who are out of work salute you! White males who you have disenfranchized send you their best wishes. Hoping you are enjoying the place that we are paying for. Please send a postcard. Oh, and if you could go back to that “laser like focus on jobs” that would be really great.

This is ABC we are talking about, they did an entire segment on their nightly news on Michelle Obama as a fashion icon.
When it’s time to pull out the moomoo it’s time to push the plate away.
There is something majorly wrong with this couple. The country is in peril and they can go on another “vacation”.
