The kids at school printed up a bunch of pics
of the funny looking pervert with the round thing on his head (in secret of course) and they all have fun using them for toilet paper.

They vowed to softly yell “IN YOUR FACE” when it was used. :>))))))

HOWEVER, Christians are not to do things just to provoke another to react in anger. If the pastor’s intention is to make a political statement, then he should do it as a private citizen, not as a representative of Jesus Christ.

I was not commenting and I will not comment on the wisdom of making the decision to burn Qurans there ... I was commenting very specifically on the right people have that dates back to our founding. That's what our country is about.

How about a billboard in Manhattan featuring the “Mohammed cartoons”?

I’m sure Mayor Bloomie, that great defender of free expression, would not object.

I used to live in Gainesville, and believe me, you could easily burn a flag - or a Bible - there. It’s a university town, and while a lot of the native local population is pretty conservative, the powers that be are anything but.

There’s a big “Islamic Dawa Center” on the outskirts of town. Dawa means conversion, in case you were wondering. And sadly, I’d say most of Gainesville’s university population would have no problem with it. In theory, at least; once the anti-woman stuff started up, they might feel a little uneasy, but by then it will be too late.

Unfortunately it looks like we're going to have to learn the HARD way on this one. IDIOTS! Just look at Europe to see our reflection down the road ... .

Or how we might view a burn Americans day.

(Oh, sorry, we already that one on 9/11!)

“how we would view a mosque in Dearborn having a Burn a Bible Day.”

We wouldn’t be worried about violence breaking out. That is the difference in the influence of the two religions.

I vote for puting it in a cheap tupper ware filled with crap and urine, after all, there`s no fire hazard there.

You should then apply for a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. After all, they've funded similar "art" projects.

Islam: demanding tolerance while giving none itself....

And what better way to protest intolerance than by using a tactic popularized by the Nazis 80 years ago?

But of course when they burn our flag its okay, or destroy churches and synagogues, no need to worry about provoking *our* outrage or being insensitive.

Just another liberal double standard we’re all supposed to observe. Count me out.

“The OIC said it hoped the U.S. government would “take appropriate steps to protect the sacred religious sentiments of Muslims of America and of the Muslims across the world.””

The muzzies cannot comprehend a govt not run or intimidated by theocrats. Islam and free speech are basically incompatible.

Show time!

Don’t like us burning your korans? Then don’t shred out bibles in Saudi Arabia.

What’s good for the goose is gravy for the gander.

Because of the deceit of the leftists; etc; you will probably find that it was one of them that is behind this; not us.

IMHO, burning a Koran is like destroying valuable enemy intelligence.

Read the Islamic s**t, learn from it, study the Hadith commentaries, understand the nature of our implacable foe the hardcore `pure’ Muslim.

Burning a Koran is a waste of accelerant fuel, just like pelting muzzie fanatics with raw bacon is a waste of wholesome food.

When I was deployed (to the least unpleasant Muslim country, Uzbekistan) the battalion chappie gave me an excellent English-Arabic Koran which I later returned. If I still had it, it would be a valuable source.

Just sayin’.
