LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Teen mom Bristol Palin, the unwed daughter of conservative powerbroker Sarah Palin, will join the new season's lineup of "Dancing with the Stars" next month, a news report said on Thursday.
Palin, 19, would follow in the reality TV footsteps of her former fiance, Levi Johnston, whose small-screen adventure involves running for political office in Alaska.
The 11th season of "Dancing with the Stars" is set to premiere on September 20 on ABC. The network declined to comment on E! Online's Palin report, saying the lineup would be officially announced next Monday.
Palin last month made a guest appearance as herself on sibling cable network ABC Family's teen drama, "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."

I agree she just keeps putting herslf right out there. I was willing to give her some leadway but she sure doesn’t seem to have her head together anymore now than she did before. Terribly self-centered it does seem.
I, for the life of me, cannot see the problem with her dancing. If she can get some sort of financial gain or wants to get into something that this would help her what’s wrong with it? What should she do? Hide in the closet or something?
I’m sure the Palin family is much like everyone elses; they live out what they’ve grown up in. Her “mommy” didn’t grow up in the spotlight or the heady experiences of the national media. I DO wish she would just be content to be a mother now and raise her baby. Everything she and Levi do gives the Media an opportunity to cast aspersions (sp) on her Mom. There’s nothing wrong with ‘dancing’ but the dear girl (not child) surely has the sense to know that she can only provide fodder for ridicule of herself and her Mother.
She was apparently in my town a few days ago giving a speech. The news reader on the radio felt compelled to mention she was pulling down $14,000 for the speech.

She can stay or go as she pleases. Her mother, Saint Sarah, is going nowhere fast and won't win jack shit.
