In what was likely his last appearance in the Pentagon briefing room, soon-to-be retiring Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Conway once more waded into the “don’t ask, don’t tell” waters with his straight-shooter candor by suggesting that “very religious” Marines with “moral concerns” about homosexuality might not be forced to live with their gay battle buddies.
Marines are billeted – or assigned sleeping quarters – in twos. Already earlier this year, Conway told Military.com that he "would not ask our Marines" to bunk in the same rooms with openly gay Marines. But exactly what about cohabitation worried him was unclear.
On Tuesday, pressed to explain, Conway pointed to the religious morality argument. He said one solution the corps could consider is “perhaps a voluntary basis” in which those Marines who do not object to homosexuality would agree to take on billets with their fellow, openly gay Marines.
Pressed to explain further why he felt Marines, more than other service, are more outright opposed to allowing openly gay service, the commandant said:
“We recruit a certain type of young American – pretty macho guy or gal that is willing to go fight and perhaps die for their country,” he said.
“I can only think as we look as our mission, how we are forced to live in close proximity aboard ships, in the field for long periods of time and that type of thing…I just think all those things have impact on the Marines and we just as soon not see it change.”
Because the Marine Corps assigns living quarters by twos, they start off with a problem right out of the gate, once the “don’t ask, don’t tell” repeal takes effect, he said.
“I do not believe there is money out there…to allow every Marine to have a room by his or herself,” he said.
But the general said he expects Marine commanders to decide quickly once the old policy is dropped.
“If the law changes, we pride our corps in leading the services in many, many things and we’re gonna have to lead in this too,” Conway said.
“We cannot be seen as dragging our feet or in some way delaying implementation. We’ve got to, as the law changes, implement and get on with it.”
Until the leadership of the US, and those of us who place them in positions of authority, begin to first think through faith in Christ, the hole is going to get much deeper before we can begin to climb out of it.

The intent here is to weaken our military as much as possible, by introducing sexual politics into daily life, recognition, promotion, demotion, etc.

I would sure appreciate that warning, especially if Jones went off for some partying before we shipped out.
Some of those men in that landing craft would probably already have small cuts, and as they hit the beaches, everybody would be creating bloody cuts and tears from the assertions and terrain and equipment, but there would also be gapin wounds and bloody messes, knowing who likes the HIV laden, anal sex, would be important information in those conditions.
It is a dangerous distraction and demoralizes and unfocused our military. We don’t shouldn’t want a Sodom and Gomorrah life style to dominate our military. Gays need to do something else, that is if they really CARE about our country and not looking for a hook-up in the bunk nearby. Homosexuality is disgusting.

By reading many of the comments from the source blog, it appears there are far fewer who grasp why it isn’t appropriate and should be criminal in a well disciplined military.
Not that this generation is necessarily any less sinful from past generations, but there was several generations where the leadership had a firmer grasp upon leading from a perspective faith through Christ and had been educated in that meaning than today’s authorities.
There is a growing trend to leverage off of the homosexuality movement towards depriving God given rights from men.
How bout getting a good night's sleep without worrying about your homo bunkmate crawling into the sack with you offering you massages aka Massa?
Or how bout taking a shower or using the bathroom or gym without getting gawked at? Or having to deal with queers suddenly lovestruck for others in their unit?
Is he sexually aroused by watching men undress? Does he like fondling little boys? Does he prefer mouthing anonymous genitals in dark public bathrooms? Does he connect electrodes to his genitals while being led around on a leash? Does he like to wallow in feces?
All the Cupcakes want to avoid discussing just what they DO to each other, because even THEY have a hard time justifying it.
Attacking them from a Christian axis is ineffective. They take pride in how their behaviors flout conventions. I would enjoy seeing a Lib trying to defend a blood smeared dildo on TV.
Therefore, let us ask just what those bahaviors are. Let them try to defend raping 7 year olds, or whipping themselves bloody, or sodomizing each other until they have permenantly damaged their sphincters.

How about get on with frag-gin the queers while they sleep in their tents. “Implement” that policy and the problem will solve itself.
These freaks should be shouted down, and be forced to crawl back beneath the slimy rock they came out from under. They are sick individuals whose political activities will bring down this nation, because the rest of us do not take the action necessary to stop them.
The only way this garbage is going to stop is when real mean stand up and forcefully end this absurdity by whatever means possible. Tolerance? Here’s tolerance... the tolerance of the rifling in my 30-06 that will make sure the target is effectively engaged with one shot.
Those who foist this debauchery on American soldiers should be rounded up and publicly executed. and I don’t care what level of power or prestige they hold. Permanently end their ability to make decisions and be a threat to our civilization. We will end our problems in one week.
Really? Do marines co-ed bunk? If not maybe they should look at why and that would answer the question about what worries him.
