it is not r vs d. It is INSIDE DC vs outside DC.

This is why it is always about incumbant protection.

McCain gets along with democrats, democrats have lunch with republicans.

Both yell at each other in front of cameras and then laugh at the voters over martinis. OUTSIDE of DC there is a difference. But those who show the difference are excluded from the walls of the beltway.

Why else are insiders pushing crist.

Just in case you are not a democrat, this is how it works. Fight like hell in the primaries for the candidate of your liking. Once you are in the general election it is the republican party vs the democrats or as RR said here's the plan: we win, they lose.

no surrender and we still reserve the right to shoot deserters

Maybe you should reread my original post. One or two election cycles is not going fix things. This fight will take many years and much education of a dumbed down electorate.

How many times have conservatives be betrayed by the GOP? The GOP is not the answer. Conservatives wresting control of the GOP from the elites and RINOs is what is needed. Then the utter defeat and discrediting of the commiecrats. This election is a good first step, but that’s it.

What insiders(non greek)are backing Crist? none. Next, So your goal is to get rid of any incumbant, no matter if they voted our way or against us, Saddam did that, very effective, keeped everyone confused and afraid, is that your plan? or are you just too buzzy to evaluate a candidates voting record? When I coached soccer I told my players to tell the guy they were marking how good they were and to ask them why their teammates weren’t passing the ball to them. First they would start yelling at their teammates for the ball and when they did get it they ball-hogged it. They all started yelling at each other. We called it “desension on the team” and it was fun. Are you having fun? Are you on our team?

You got that right! It floors me at how quickly some want to throw someone out because a corrupt dem makes a bogus charge. Witness Ted Stevens and Tom Delay, as well as Newt.

I think Michigan is going to be a real surprise this election cycle but FReepers need to drop the instinctive bashing and pay real attention.

I’m not talking about anyone in particular but we could use your help. If you’re in a red state with a well funded likely republican winner, consider a few bucks to a strong blue state conservative. Here in Michigan, Benishek, Walberg, and Steele are good bets with Walberg being probably the safest bet with a clear 10 point advantage.

I don’t like Rick Snyder one bit but I will vote for him and I personally think he’ll find little choice but to move to the right.

Interestingly enough, both the Detroit Free press and Detroit news are running editorials calling the democrats a corrupt party.

I realize we have to work with what we have!

Are we not supposed to stand firm yet help thaw the misguided towards a better way without rancor!

as we remove ourselves do we not allow God to changes hearts and minds.

and would these not be the miracles

Dick Morris used a good analogy referring to Reid and other Democrats who have been consistently under 50% for months. When over half the people have said no to Reid, its like asking someone if they will be married to their spouse next year. If there is that much doubt, the marriage is over.

Here! Here! Democrats do love that message. Criminals thrive on a demoralized electorate which is convinced everything is rigged, nothing they do matters and there is no stopping the parasites who feed off the public.

Our reputation for liberalism is baseless and undeserved.

We have one more democrat representative in Washington than we have republicans and that is obviously going to change. Snyder while far from perfect is looking pretty strong in comparison to Bernero. The GOP holds a majority in the state senate and the democrats hold a majority in the house. Less than 10 of our 83 counties consistently vote democrat. The majority of Michigan governors have been republican with only 2 democrats in the last 50 years. We have pretty good gun laws compared to most of the country, we’ve voted against gay marriage and affirmative action.

We’re heavily unionized and overtaxed but that doesn’t mean liberal by any means.

I will not give one cent to the RNC, I donate directly to candidates. If everyone did that, we could force real change in the RNC.

I’m not familiar with MI pols. Thanks for your suggestions. I have a few favorites I will be supporting, but not from my adopted home state. Charles Djou won because of infighting in the dem party, two candidates split the dem vote giving the win to Charles. He has 0 chance of holding his seat in the general.

I am very impressed with Lt Col Allen West (FL), Bill Randall (NC). Both are black, strong, well spoken conservatives. They are the sort who drive the libs nuts. Got to love it!

Have a great weekend. I just finished a 12 hour night shift. Doing my part to support the ‘less advantaged’. Good night!
