More accusations made in close Senate race (Miller V Murkowski)

SENATE RACE: Miller's camp says GOP group is preparing for legal battle.

There were more allegations by the Joe Miller campaign of ballot-counting monkey business on Saturday as the absentees continue to pour into the Alaska Division of Elections. State elections officials now say there are 23,472 ballots to process, with more coming, and the first count set for Tuesday.

Miller currently leads Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski by 1,668 votes in the Republican primary.

Miller campaign spokesman Randy DeSoto said in an e-mail Saturday that there are many calls going out to Alaskans who voted absentee ballots, asking them who they voted for in the primary.

DeSoto said his basis for making that assertion is that a woman contacted the Miller campaign about getting a call, that such a call was brought up in the comment section of a story on the Daily News website, and that several people had called an Anchorage talk radio show to say they've received such calls.

"I believe, and time will prove it, (the calls) are being done for nefarious purposes," DeSoto said in the e-mail. "It is definitely not being done by the Joe Miller campaign. It is being done, I believe, by the National Republican Senatorial Committee or someone they contracted with as the beginning of a legal battle to throw out ballots."

I have a sick feeling this isn’t going to turn our well for Miller! The establishment/elite RINO’s club is going to steal the election!

This shows how mentally ill these have become for their lust for power.

Here in the 1st congressional in the state of Mi, Benishek beat Allen by 15 votes and Allen was said to be considering a recount. It is said that he only relented after someone convinced him otherwise. Yet, after he bowed out another decided to jump into the race as an “I”. Now aint that just great? Benishek is as conservative as one can get yet someone has to become the spoiler for the democrats to win the seat the infamous Stupak held.

BTW, Allen had to move to run in the district. But, my hat is off to him because he didnt demand a recount and has got behind the candidate-Benishek, a Surgeon.

This works for Murky no matter what. The people that voted for her will say so and they will assume anyone that declines to answer voted Miller. They now know which ballots to challenge. This is awful. We are no longer a nation of laws but of lawyers.

We can reform the RNC. We are already doing it by NOT sending them money. We can starve them into compliance. Sort of like a Tea Party seige.

I’ll be calling him (again) tomorrow and I know you will too. FWIW.

Call Orin Hatch too. He’s second in line.

So true, absentee ballots were at 8,000 and then I heard 16,000 then 20,000 and now 23,000??? really fishy to me.

GoCards is right. Everyone call Cornyn and the Party. Tell them there is a campaign called Starve the Beast. That the people are sick of politics as usual. We’re sick of their tactics like what they’re doing in Alaska. We are funding OUR choices and will not send money to the GOP. Hence Starve the Beast. Listen to what WE want or we will starve them monetarily. And they ARE broke.

Joe Miller isn’t the ordinary, rol-over candidate. He’s a top notch lawyer and former judge, who’s also got a top notch lawyer by his side, not to mention Sarah Palin who’s fought and beat the the elder Murkowski.

This thing is not over. Joe won and he’s still in the lead.

For Murkowski to “win” she’ll have to cheat, and that’s going to get U. G L. Y. The nation is watching now.

All too desperately, numbingly familiar to those of us living in Washington State. Remind me to tell you how we ended up being "blessed" with our current far, FAR leftist 'rat Governor, sometime.

Oh yeah, you’re right. The third party rumors are just that. Rumors or “talk.” She is betting on pulling a Franken.

And you’re right again. Senator Miller will never forget the NRSC’s involvement.

It’s just amazing that the number of outstanding absentee ballots have suddenly grown from 16,000 to over 23,000!

Miller is a fighter and a very smart fan. Keep the faith.

Watch Face the Nation. I’m sure ole Bob Scheiffer is for Murkowski.

Dear Republican Establishment,

When you engage in al-gorish tactics and outright fraud in Alaska to try and replace the people’s choice on election day with the party’s choice, what makes you think that anyone is going to trust you as the agent through which Obamism will be rolled back?

The GOP would rather welcome a democrat in their select club than have a Tea Party member. I bet Mitch McConnell is involved in this as well.

Look at NY 23. The House GOP abandoned Doug Hoffman.
Then, they never asked for their money back from DeDe.
