Use the whois function to get started. IP addresses can tell you what you want to know. But what’s the point? Hosting services shut down sites everyday. Google (blogspot) is infamous for shutting down blogs that leftists don’t like.

Note the tab marked Partner Network. You can search their partners by going to the search tab, then perform a category search from the dropdown menu.Hope this helps.

Must admit I am not tech savvy enough to see which sites they host, all I found were more web hosting sites on their IP. I was trying to see if there was a double standard, like them hosting a muslim website, or something that's all. Sorry to inconvenience you all.

Not for or against pastor, just want him to be able to do what he wants, within reason of course. If he wants to spend his or his parishioners money on a koran and burn it, who cares? It just seems kinda coincidental and unfair that Rackspace took them off the web now.

the poster noted that rackspace dropped the pastor’s website and wondered if they were in the habit of supporting certain political opinions while dropping those they didn’t agree with.

for the record, i’ve co-lo’d with rackspace and never detected any such weirdness. but that was a while ago.

Do you know if they host christiansmustdiebecauseislamsayso.com or something of that ilk? Checked some of the sites, Philippine real estate seems harmless.

With the exception of the porn sites, could this particular churches website actually BE the most controversial website they host?

It’s also quite common to find all sorts/types of websites hosted on a single server,virtual server, or IP address.

Hosting companies must do this to create economies of scale in order to make their business profitable.

..so to find something like sluttyskanks and doveworld on the same server is the norm and not the exception.

IMHO, rackspace is just protecting themselves from the extreme behavior that can be exhibited by both sides in these types of ideological battles.

Many websites break Terms of Service and are ignored, but not all sites are as high profile(worldwide news coverage) and prone to violent backlash.
