But the left and the media don’t care! Christians are officially designated as “oppressors” and jihadis as “oppressed.” In today’s world, “oppressors” are always wrong, and “oppressed” can do no wrong.

Presidents, generals, secretaries of states, “peace and love” groups, all condemning the burning of the Koran.

Would they come to the rescue of our Bible? Not a chance! The hypocrisy!

Let's contrast Christianity and Islam. Bibles are burned all the time by Muslims. Do Christians riot and threaten the necks of Muslim children? No. Christianity is greater than letters printed on paper. GOD’s word, his truth is in our hearts and it can't be destroyed.

Why are Muslims so offended by the burning of Koran? Why so insecure? What does that say about the validity of Islam?

"I summon my blue-eyed slaves anytime it pleases me. I command the Americans to send me their bravest soldiers to die for me. Anytime I clap my hands a stupid genie called the American ambassador appears to do my bidding. When the Americans die in my service their bodies are frozen in metal boxes by the US Embassy and American airplanes carry them away, as if they never existed. Truly, America is my favorite slave."

I guess their oil is the only POSSIBLE reason to shed American blood for these people. It begs a question: WHY THE HELL AREN’T WE USING OUR OWN?? ARE WE MAD? (Don’t answer that.)

Now that you mentioned that siege, I was remindered of something that is still on the the net:
"Catholic priests in the church marking the spot where Jesus was believed to have been born said that during the five-week siege, Palestinians tore up some Bibles for toilet paper and removed many valuable sacramental objects, according to a May 15, 2002, report by the Washington Times...."

I used to get the Washington Times and I remembered that reporting, that is why I thought it worth mention here.

Doing a google search for it, I noticed that Muslims kind of make us their bitches when it comes to our churches and holy sites, and bibles and such.

It’s only wrong to incite VIOLENCE. Since Christians are inherently peaceful, and Muslims are inherently violent, it’s only wrong to incite Muslims.

I think the blame for this can be squarely laid at the feet of a certain pastor in Florida who wants to burn Korans.

Last night on BOR, Is it legal team examine Koran Burning in light of a 2005 decision on a Cross Buring Statue. Sandra Day wrote in the majority (5-4) that since the purpose of cross burning act was to (paraphrasing) inflict emotional damage or harm, the statue was constitutional. This flies in the face of a lower court's opinion of the Missouri law to prevent the WEST Burrough Baptist Church from protesting at Military Funerals.

Long story, but the courts have put themselves in a position to Judge the motives of the people exercising free speech as the test of constitutionality. So if I burn a cross to celebrate, say, Constantinople's vision, that's OK... but if I burn a cross in a black neighborhood, that is not ok... still no word if I burn a cross to honor Senator Byrd....

But the court is even in a worse position with Koran Burning. We know Islam reacts badly to this act because it is taught to react badly. So even if the motivation of the Koran burner is to protest the death of 3000 people on 9-11, Muslims will say they are harmed. This realistically means Muslims have an automatic political upper hand because they can claim harm, whether intended or not, because of the way they react... SHOOCKING.
