Thanks Free ThinkerNY.
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) on Sunday strongly criticized Feisal Abdul Rauf, the imam seeking to build an Islamic community center and mosque near Ground Zero. "He seems by his actions to be more interested in confrontation than in healing," Giuliani said on NBC's "Meet the Press." The former mayor alleged that the plan is hurtful to the vast majority of family members of victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks. Giuliani also said the imam has not been transparent about the project's financing, and cited Rauf's 2001 comment on CBS's 60 Minutes that "United States policies were an accessory to the crime that happened."

Geert Wilders and some others have mentioned a principle of reciprocity must be applied when dealing with totalitarian islam. The free world must make a stand in New York. NO mosque there or anywhere in the West until there is a church in Mecca where Christians freely worship without harassment. No mosque in New York until Christians can live in freedom and equality in muslim dominated countries. No mosque in New York or anywhere else in the free world until a Christian living in a muslim country does not have to report his religion on his identity card so that he can be attacked with impunity, and discriminated against. No mosque in New York until women are no longer stoned to death in muslim countries for imagined offenses. No mosque in New York until African boys and girls are no longer kidnapped and enslaved by muslim slave traders. No mosque in New York until Hagia Sofia and every other church desecrated by muslim totalitarians has been returned to its rightful Christian owners. SET MY PEOPLE FREE!
Stop using the false label of tolerance as a cover for cultural suicide!

We wish it were a money scam. Rauf is not Jesse Jackson in drag. He actually does want to install sharia and take over the US through the Islamic chosen one, aka, Barack Hussein Obama.

We can give him all the money in the world, and he’ll still be back to build that mosque (which is not really a mosque, but a “rabat,” an administrative and cultic building that Muslims build on conquered territory).

Oh c'mon FRiend, he's a likable guy, his speech at the 2004 RNC convention was out of the park, right up there withe Zell Millers. I like Newt, Huckabee and Morris too for their POINT OF VIEW, though I would not get behind them as a leader or POTUS.

Say what you will about Rudy but he did a good job in NY City, that I agree with. Do I want him as POTUS, no....listening to their input is another story.

Look, I'm not one to tear apart those who are on our side. I like Rush, Hannity, Levin etc and agree with them 99% of the time. Too many here want to take one thing out of 10, 000 things they have said over time and bash them over the head with it...sorry, but that is a losing game.

It’s the wider view if you will. No one in a Country of this size will get all they want, You , Me , or the guy across the street. You want 99%, well so would I, Not going to happen

Reducing spending, limiting Govt. I’ll take that.

Me, I want it all but you're right, it is never going to happen so we settle for what we can get.

As I said, I like Rudy as a pundit, but not a leader. If I had to vote for him vs. islamobama....well, let's hope we don't have to cross that bridge, Mc Cain was bad enough!

In New Jersey Rauf has been known for decades as a plain and simple real estate crook and slum lord.

MAkes me wonder if the really important people have their people looking over sites like this. A number of us here have been clling out this clown for what his real aim is to cause division among us. If they are, they are late to the party!

Well said! We must use our freedom to worship as a weapon to bang the Muslims over the heads. No more mosques in America until they allow us free worship in their countries!

"Islam "is" a religion of peace should really be phrased Islam "will be" a religion of peace - for as soon as all the world is under the dominion of sharia law, and those opposing islam are subdued, there will then be peace!"

More likely scenario is that Islam ... will be ... pacified.

Which is what makes it compelling -- Bojinka-cum-9/11 was out in front of much longer-term jihad plans to obtain a nuke, which Gulf2 subsequently temporarily disgronified before Iran ramped up; and this mosque is almost a feint, out in front of something larger. But what?

Yeah, you’re right. Islamists will never be satisfied with any level of humanly possible conformity. It will always be “death” to the infidels, with nonfidelity defined to ever decreasing levels of differences. I suppose even if every person on earth was a clone of Mohammed’s ideal Muslim, in form and thought, they would argue violently about the rising of the moon, or the shadow of a dog, or whatever might be seen differently from two points of view.
