Crazy? I'll give you crazy . . .
Last Friday Mika Brzezinski and Morning Joe engaged in some strange and possibly unprecedented TV "journalism." They invited Terry Jones—the potentially Koran-burning pastor—on the show via live feed, gave former Newsweek editor Jon Meachem the chance to lecture him about Christianity and implore him not to proceed with his plan . . . then summarily cut the feed without giving Jones the chance to say word one in response.
"We don't really need to hear anything else" declared Mika, as she shut down the pastor's microphone.
A number of bloggers, including NB's own Matt Hadro and me, noted and criticized Mika's bizarre move. But there was Joe Scarborough on the show today, mockingly writing off Mika's critics as "crazy people."

I don’t believee that anything Scarborough says qualifies as newsworthy. The man is an airhead.

People are now seeing the need to stand up to the bullies - both Islam and their supporters on the left.

Did you see them this morning criticizing Newt for his “Kenyan anti-colonial thinker” comments? Why is it liberals are so against free speech if they don’t agree with it? It’s getting where I can’t listen to Joe or Mika more than a minute or two without my blood pressure rising. Joe just comes across as such a loser and Mika gives blondes a bad name.
On Morning Joe, Mika took a phone call from Donald Trump.
Trump explained that he offered the owner of the mosque building his cost plus 25% - which amounted to about 6.5 million.
The owner refused the offer. Trump is convinced the owner is playing this issue to get the highest offer he can. He’s in it for the bucks.
O’Donnell on the show tried to goad Trump into paying the owner $25 million, but Trump said he would never pay that weasel that kind of money.
Mika insisted that the mosque must be built there regardless of how much money is offered. It’s all about tolerance and co-existence for her. She is clueless as ever. Trump told her that he likes the Mika on the phone much better than the Mika that comes across on the TV.
After the Beck gathering, Mika wondered aloud, “Who are these people ?” I almost have a trickle of empathy for her that she has never met one.
On occasion I dvr Morning Joe. I usually zip by 95% of it.
Who shouldn't be on TV anywhere.
Joe is nothing more than a self righteous elitist liberal republican all to eager to bash conservatives and limit any dissenting voice or opinion.

Wow, I have noticed a trend! Anyone who criticizes Mika is crazy, D’Souza is crazy for criticising Imam Obama, and Newt is crazy for for also being critical of ‘The One’.
I think big lib talking heads are running out of ammo since they have nothing but ad hominem attacks regarding their critics mental health. IMHO, I also believe that all of the criticism is causing Hussein to unravel as his narcissistic personality cannot accept negative press.
Will Newt back down from his statements this week?
