Krauthammer has this point...Castle is a virtual win. O’Donnell still today...with most folks in Delaware...is a question mark.

Let’s also be honest here. If you picked out the typical average Republican in Texas...and looked for the same charismatics with a Delaware Republican...you’d only find 10,000 of them in the whole state of Delaware. The vast number of conservatives in the state are RINO-types.

The amusing thing to this whole story is that Joe Biden’s son was the end-all expected winner of this race until he dropped out. I suspect anyone with name value...even Lady Gaga...could win the state election in November.

That’s a great point. A RINO is a RINO is a RINO... not. Location is everything. I’m in PA. For congress I’m stuck with Mike Fitzpatrick. Better than Patrick Murphy. A lot better, but, hardly a true conservative.

Right now is the spring of 1942 and we don’t like some of our allies. Fine. First win some battles. Then control the field(s). Then win the war. Then decide what to do with our so called allies.

The Delaware GOP sued the Tea Party.

The Tea Party is not going to vote for Castle, and might very well vote for Coons if Castle is the nominee.

Castle is so very awful to so many conservative Republicans that Castle definitely could not count on their votes in November.

If he had been nice, debated Christine, had an honest debate on issues, experience, resume, etc., maybe Castle would’ve won, maybe Christine would’ve won. But it would be a fair battle of ideas. This was just awful behavior on the part of Castle and the DE GOP, and don’t forget the NRSC was here. Conservatives want Castle gone. But if Castle behaved honorably, and won fairly, they would’ve held their nose and voted for him. But Castle refused to debate, and only slung mud, while Christine simply pointed out how often Castle voted for things conservatives hate, so conservatives who understand how much of an awful awful pain in the ass a RINO is will say, NO MORE RINOS and let the chips fall where they may.

There are a lot of conservatives in DE. You need them to win if you’re a Republican and it’s 2010. Mike Castle will not get them. No way, right now, Castle can win. He destroyed himself with the mudslinging and, especially, suing the tea party.

Castle is also a virtual democrat. We don't need another Susan Collins/Olympia Snowe out there. We need somebody that understands and adheres to the text and original intent of the constitution.

While a fair number of republicans in the state may be moderates or libs, but there is no such thing as a conservative RINO.

RINOs by definition aren't conservative.

Is that the same Biden son that had Larry Sinclair falsely arrested, and then soon afterward, Biden was chosen as Veep?
