EAST LANSING, Mich. — Women tend to accept the scientific consensus on global warming more than men, according to a study by a Michigan State University researcher. The findings ('The effects of gender on climate change knowledge and concern in the American public', Population & Environment, 2010, Volume 32, Number 1, Pages 66-87), challenge common perceptions that men are more scientifically literate, said sociologist Aaron M. McCright.
"Men still claim they have a better understanding of global warming than women, even though women's beliefs align much more closely with the scientific consensus," said McCright, an associate professor with appointments in MSU's Department of Sociology, Lyman Briggs College and Environmental Science and Policy Program.
The study is one of the first to focus in-depth on how the genders think about climate change. The findings also reinforce past research that suggests women lack confidence in their science comprehension.
"Here is yet another study finding that women underestimate their scientific knowledge – a troubling pattern that inhibits many young women from pursuing scientific careers," McCright said.
Understanding how the genders think about the environment is important on several fronts, said McCright, who calls climate change "the most expansive environmental problem facing humanity."

This moron, McCright, is actually studying female vulnerability to consensus pressure, though he apparently doesn't know it.
But what he DOES know is that female love of group association is why more men should be denied a science education.
What's more, he thinks he knows this scientifically.

Best rule we ever had in our house is absolutely no dating until she turns 16, then she's got to have the guy pick her up at home to meet the father.
The best thing about this rule is the worst guys moved on from the get-go. Those who were left and willing to go through the Dad screening process were generally of much higher quality.
My girls thought the rule was weird at the time, but they thank me for it now.
There is a cure for this. Spend a couple years in D.C. and soon you wont believe anything that anyone says.

That is the current trend - easy to get a decent sample of people for $50 each. The lazy way to get data.
Then they make sweeping conclusions that aren’t even close to being supported by the bizarre demographics they have given themselves.

Some women are smarter than others. Property owners/ business owner women make much better decisions than non owners.

Virtually all social change (read: Progressivism)—as an aside note— is instituted by middle class women. It’s because lower class women don’t have time to get involved, and upper class women could care less.
The powers that be realized long ago that women voting on the fly, and appealing to the middle class women to “matter” is greatly contributing to the destruction of society, via the destruction of the family.
If men and women were not constantly pitted against one another, and women realized they are just as important as their husbands, without trying to dominate them, we wouldn’t be where we are. Thus, the breakup of the family has been a design since time memorial. Women get men to do things they wouldn’t normally do, for good and for bad, so the politicians have targeted women, just as Satan. That’s why men and women must be united and not let anyone split them up. It a con game, that everybody who plays, eventually loses.
Republicans have pushed for very Progessive programs in the past. According to Phyllis Schlafly 70% of single women voted for Obama.
So what men need to do is convince their wives to vote the same as their men do.
So like 99% of men think Global Warming is a crock, while only 98% of women think so. Since the article doesn’t post the number, we can assume the numbers must be bad for Warmists.
In another study, 100% of women said they wouldn’t go on a date with Aaron if he was the last guy on earth.
And the guy will go along even if it kills him.
