Tuesday is the cloture vote with amnesty, abortion, and Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell all on the table. And with Murkowski now declaring herself an independent, Republicans don’t have the votes to stop it. They would all need to stick together plus get her vote or one of the Democrats.
Hopefully both sides won’t want to vote on these sensitive issues headed into the election.
He was a political General nothing less, certainly not more.
Either these Republicans should be kicked out of the party or let’s take the tea and leave.
Check out the provisions of this “DREAM” act. It isn’t about showing pity for the hard cases, like those who came here as infants, grew up, and don’t know their home country. It’s about granting amnesty to a wide swath of illegals.
The following is a list of specific requirements one would need in order to qualify for the current version of the DREAM Act.
* Must have entered the United States before the age of 16 (i.e. 15 and younger)
* Must have been present in the United States for at least five (5) consecutive years prior to enactment of the bill
* Must have graduated from a United States high school, or have obtained a GED, or have been accepted into an institution of higher education (i.e. college/university)
* Must be between the ages of 12 and 35 at the time of application
* Must have good moral character
No need to check it out! It was introduced by the Democrats, that is enough to know that it is an abomination and against the republic.

Why does Powell always seem to just parachute in around election time to be used as a handy prop for Democrats? You never hear boo from the guy until the MSM needs some “moderate” to give their Marxist brethren political cover.

►Applicants don't have to prove eligibility. The DHS has to prove INELIGIBILITY. Do you think the Incompetano DHS is going to be in any hurry to do that? Ever?

►Upon reaching 21 those receiving DREAM amnesty can bring in UNLIMITED relatives into the U.S. under our insane "chain migration" regs
►***DHS CAN WAIVE THE REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS TO COMPLETE COLLEGE OR 2 YRS MILITARY SERVICE or grant unlimited additional time to complete those, all the while giving them full protection from deportation
►Amnesty beneficiaries can receive full Federal student loans (any wonder why the Feds recently nationalized that program? Because they will give every one of them subsidized college = voter registration project)
Okay. Bureaucrat if you prefer. A fine distinction in any case.
