Efforts by terrorists abroad to radicalize and recruit U.S. residents present new security threats, three top Obama administration officials told Congress on Wednesday.
The threat posed by homegrown extremists shows that the battle against terrorism has become more complex in the past year, underscoring the challenges of pinpointing and blocking plots, said Michael Leiter, director of the National Counterterrorism Center.

They have no idea how many enemies they are creating with this current government - both foreign and domestic.
The biggest single problem is that this administration REFUSES to IDENTIFY just "what" the nature of that "extremism" is, militant Islam.

It has been predicted that the only way to accommodate mass immigration from the Third World will be with a police state: you cannot throw that many utterly dissimilar people together and expect it to work. The only way to hold it together is with force.

The reason for this is an extremely weak President. Not since Carter has this country had such a weak leader and the world knows it and is responding accordingly.
I agree with your post. Our governments stupidity in allowing such unfettered immigration of muslims has been the political and cultural equivalent of embracing an asp. There’s already (apparently) an abundance of aspiring Felix Dzerzhinskys among our political class to take the reins of our Checka.
By homegrown do they do mean the ones occupying the White Hut and the Won’s appointed Czars?
