Was having lunch in Sierra Gordo (Chile)and on the TV was the story of some queer Chilean married a queer Argentine and protesting Chile wanting them to recognize fag marriages.
PC is NOT a favorite pastime down here.

I can tell from the kind of glasses a person wears that they:
— want the Bush tax cuts to expire
— are more authentically angry at Walmart than at the terrorists
— secretly wish America would just get over 911
— secretly wonder why people are so hung up on the Constitution
— secretly wish gas cost $5 a gallon
— have never heard of Freidrich Hayek
— admire Gorbachev more than Reagan
— only book they’ve read cover to cover is Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Liar by Al Franken
— still disappointed that Iraq wasn’t another Vietnam
— find those Tom Toles cartoons funny
— always take Allende’s side of the argument
— only started liking American cars about two years ago
— wish Obama could be absolute dictator for a month or two
— not bothered by Rangel ethics problems
— have never donated to private charity
— believe in abortion on demand

He simply removed her from the ring where she was interfering. The animal rights wackos are out of control. In fact, the entire world seems to be out of control these days. Where were you in 1968 and 1969?

Is horse and cow tripping part of the Chilean rodeo, as in Mexico?

. . . in rodeo calf roping you have a HEADER and a HEELER ,,,, the heeler did not connect to bring the doggy down so the time is not counted ,,,but he could claim fan interference .

Sounds like Chile has a 1950’s American culture, which is a good thing.

I went to a few Chilean rodeos in the 70s when I was working there. Great events! They do indeed take them very seriously.
To: Little Ray
She should consider herself lucky they were riding horses and not bulldozers.

***Ladies and gentlemen, if youre PETA protesters, and you climb into a rodeo ring filled with men on horses, carrying lariats...youre just asking for trouble.****
Even worse if they were to jump into the arena when the bulls and horses are loosed.
I remember seeing a clip from Spain of some woman protesting the running of the bulls. One of the bulls didn’t take kindly to her and tossed her on his horns like a rag doll several times before others scared him off.

Rodeo in much of South America is the second most popular sport after soccer. Barrel racing is one of the few things women/girls can compete in as a sport on the same level as men in those macho cultures.
