Liberal media goes on attack against GOP's Boehner [Democrats plan sex hit on Boehner]
NY Post ^ | 9/24/2010

Posted on 09/24/2010 7:44:19 AM PDT by RED SOUTH

Insiders on Capitol Hill are buzzing about an upcoming New York Times exposé that will detail an alleged Boehner affair. Sources say the Times is looking for the right time to drop the story in October to sway the election, similar to how the Times reported during the 2008 presidential campaign on an alleged John McCain affair that supposedly had taken place many years before and that was flatly denied by the woman in question. "Catching Boehner with a mistress is the only way to destroy him politically before the election," a source said.

A rep for Boehner's office said, "This is bull[bleep]. The American people oppose Washington Democrats' job killing, so their desperate liberal allies are resorting to outright lies. It's low, and it's dirty."

Nobody cares anymore. We need limited government and we need it now.

Let’s pretend for a moment that the allegations are true:

NOBODY cares anymore about infidelity as an election issue. Bill Clinton slammed that door. Nikki Haley faced multiple accusations of infidelity and has a 14pt lead over the Dem in her governors race.

The electorate is not going to say, “I’m not going to vote for my Republican congressional candidate because some Republican I’ve never heard of is cheating on his wife.”

Makes you wonder about co-ordiantion between the White House. The White House has been promoting Boehner as the foil for the Democrat agenda. Did the White House raise this straw man so the New York Times could knock him down?

Campaigning for open and flaunted homosexuality in the military but outraged by these unsubstantiated rumors?

These people are deranged.

The Times certainly isn’t above publishing unsubstantiated rumors to further their political agenda, but Boehner is a good looking powerful guy and given some past transgressions of House leaders, you never know. Does anybody out there know if there is any substance to this?

Of course they did. Problem is nobody in the general public knows who Boehner is nor do they care.

People are sick of this crap. That is one reason why the Tea Party movement has exploded.

This is an old trick and we are on to them. This reminds me of the smear campaign on Alaskas’ late Senator Stevens who was accused of many things right before the election and after many months of defending himself it turned out to be nothing. He lost the election. How about all the charges brought on Sarah ( right before the election)... looks like nothing stuck there either. She lost the election, too. Yes, timing is everything when your plan is not to allow someone time to defend themselves...

And Boehner should break the story HIMSELF, CALLING it the lie it is and accusing the leftist media of working to change the course of the election.

No wonder he bothered to keep mentioning the man. This is the “nationalization” of the primary tactic that Obama has always used to get elected.

That’s a good idea. A preemptive press conference with the alleged woman standing there denying it all.

Was precisely the first thing that came to my mind. 0bama calling him out a couple of weeks ago made no sense at all, but NOW it does.....

Why not give the proper headline and the normal source citation?

"Catching Boehner with a mistress is the only way to destroy him politically before the election," a source said.

No, no. Not at all!

You could just print lies about a non-existent mistress. That might also work.
